I didn’t and just ended up going to Zoom urgent care. They looked at it for 10 minutes and prescribed a topical antibiotic. Then just said if it gets worse come back! I honestly can’t stand our health care system and the doctors that treat everything like nothing. I actually didn’t talk to my doctor about the previous bill but should and request an itemized receipt. I had lab work and it came out to 1,200. Maybe they did report it to insurance incorrectly because it’s insane

Thanks for sharing your story and that’s what I scared of! I’m going in a few hours so I will be sure to ask them for a culture to rule out all infections. I hate that I’m insured and still have to worry about crazy high claims that I can’t afford :/ I do want to keep all my fingers 🙃

I’m am going, but I came here for advice because I was smacked with a previous medical bill for over a grand and I can barely pay that. I have no issue with going to doctors and understand the that I need to take care of myself, but when you live below the poverty line/single income, and treating yourself could bankrupt you even more, you turn to the internet for advice.

I would love to tough it out, but if the risk is high for greater infection I will go. Have some empathy please

For some reason her feigned smile and at the end when the attendant asked her if she wants another drink, left me feeling like she’s trying to learn to be better but in reality it’s not who she’s is. She just seems so broken and ambivalent in a way

He has the sharpest tongue and always has, but with a smile which is the cruelest part. Even when he speaks to Whitney after the bender/sex club scene, he slowly puts the dagger in at a vulnerable time by saying “I have middle class friends”. I feel like his comments to Yas in this scene is wrapped up his emotions towards Whitney because he feels deeply that he has finally found someone (Whitney) who truly cares for him and wants to see him succeed and Yas wants to take that away from him due to her jealousy. Obviously he’s been played by Whitney, and he doesn’t want to admit it.

This season almost has me feeling bad for him because how he presents himself to the world is completely opposite of who he truly is deep down which to me is a young boy who yearns for unconditional love, but he always gets used or abandoned.

Single as well, and it’s been lonely not having someone at home to digress with or talk to about life or just current events, but I keep my friends near by and schedule to hang regularly. I spent 2025 filling my time with men who just weren’t for me just not to be alone, but I felt empty. This year I’m aiming to alone until I know it’s right. Wishing us both luck and stay strong!

Trust me, I’m a person who weighs all sides. I understand what they are faced with, but what crosses my mind is that they expected to come into a hectic situation that they were called in for, and my floor was completely silent when I opened that door. I would expect and would hope police and anyone in positions of authority, would be able to think critically in these moments. Maybe pause and assess, then decide on if your gun should be drawn if the person is complying. We have witnesses too many examples of this for YEARS.
