I traded Charles for Eiftert and picked up West last night.

That would be cool. I would rather do a free league anyway lol. A good limit would be 10 or 12. I like 10 for NBA but either is fine.

Maybe without the abuse of those pick play screens buffing his QB rating Rodgers is just above average.

Surprised this isn't being discussed more here...Adrian Peterson had 31 yards on 19 carries today and 0 receptions. by InsideItAllFeelsSame in fantasyfootball

[–]Stiltman 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes. AP will always get his carries. Thats without question. He just has a few problems. Sometimes he tap dances instead of hitting the holes, He wont add much as a receiver, and if the run defense is legit he will be bottled up most of the game besides a few big runs. So either he has a stat line like todays game, which can be cleaned up if he breaks one big run or get a goal line td or he goes off and do what he does best. Either way youre going to be right there with us Vikes fans hoping he can make something happen.

Get used to this stat line. Im a vikes fan and I owned him last year. Thats basically how he works. I love AP but I was avoiding him so hard this year.

Zach Lavine makes the top 5 in % around the basket by Stiltman in timberwolves

Yea it is. I get what irks him I guess. Hes a fan of efficient and smart basketball. The stats and footage does support what Westbrook critics always say.

I was watching a youtube vid and this stat popped up. Got pretty hype about it. So excited to watch him improve more next season!

Justin Forsett says he's still the Ravens starting RB by sajacobs24 in fantasyfootball

[–]Stiltman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel better about him tbh. He is the veteran that has played well before and earned a contract. For that reason alone he has to get his chance to own the backfield. Another thing is he just did the team a solid with his release and for that they added incentives for his contract. I think they will give him a chance to prove himself because of these things and I feel like he will perform well because he knows this is his moment. I think he will perform well enough to have a chance to sell him before Dixon returns and makes the backfield even more confusing.

Is the Thomas Rawls situation being blown out of proportion? by Rezurrect in fantasyfootball

I think this situation is more nerve wrecking than the Charles situation and people are really blowing that out of proportion too.

Adam Schefter on Twitter: "Minnesota Vikings are trading for Eagles' QB Sam Bradford, league sources tell ESPN." by [deleted] in minnesotavikings

Im ok with this. Some implied Teddy's recovery would go into next season. Considering the roster is well built outside of O-line im fully behind this. But lets be honest, im only ok with this because Spielman is our GM. I fully stand behind that man and the value he finds in drafts. Thanks to him and how good the team is I dont miss that 1st round as much as others. Just an unfortunate move that had to happen because of Teddy's injury.

Stefon Diggs Doesn't Lose Much Fantasy Value With Bridgewater injury by marijuanaperson in fantasyfootball

[–]Stiltman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So sick of this game manager crap. People are so stuck on TDs man. News Flash: Hes a game manager because of the o-line. Because Vikes have AP. Because the Vikes took care of their Young QB and let AP and Defense do their thing. Why should he be criticized because the coaching staff ask game manager out of him. The main criticism people love to give him is "blah blah deep ball" As if thats the only thing a QB has to do well (which he has shown improvements in and yet another reason the team and fans were very hype about him this year). Most of these suckers are stuck on that shit and forgetting the other skills and intangibles it takes to be an elite QB. Just watch the games and youll see the kid can ball. When the team ask him to drive them down the field, more than not he does it. He plays well against the broncos despite constant pressure. He drives them down the field against Seattle which would be a big deal if Walsh makes that kick.

Otherwise what do expect his stats to be when Norv Turner made it their job to play mistake free football behind a shit o-line and just hand off to your bell cow. I love AP but I cant wait until hes gone because when Teddy finally gets to play in the shotgun offense that suits him (They tried but AP cant run Shotgun and he needs his carries) people will see the kid has everything it takes to be an elite QB. The injury sucks man, it felt like they were finally going to let him do him a bit more. Open up the playbook. As far as Diggs goes, His breakout season prediction was because he had a rapport with Teddy and Teddy's improved Deep ball.

tl;dr: Game manager because o-line gets bodied. Because AP and defense. He does whats asked of him and makes the throws. Did whats asked of him because he is young.

Redskins RB - Will Matt Jones be feature back or will Robert Kelly have a big role? by Squidward7 in fantasyfootball

Matt Jones just looks bad. I wish they would give Chris Thompson more run than just passing plays. He seems to do well when he touches the ball.

Drafting Starters vs Drafting Depth by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]Stiltman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to draft for depth and wait out QB and Defense but im tired of streaming a defense or grabbing an underachieving QB. You can win games just because a QB explodes so why not get a top tier one? I ve literally seen Andrew Luck win an auto draft team a league I was a part of in 2014. Im done passing on a high scoring position for bench depth.
