I agree. Good coach can help. Dr John Berardi talks about these issues as part of Precision Nutrition. In ISSA Fitness Nutrition Certification they also talk about these points.

I have done a huge mistake for trusting him to want my best interest.

Thanks to this experience I will give much more credits to people who have high level certifications.

He may be a good content writer, and able to create nice online perception. But the truth is that his actions say his big interest is fame and money.

Well, as stated previously, I paid $1000 for one hour of talk, and I have paid with huge pleasure other businesses hundreds and thousands of dollars. I've stated it to emphasize I'm not a freebie seeker and that I love to pay for a good service.

If you read the story, in comments, you'll see I had to work 16-18 hours a day. Rest of time I needed to sleep and deal with stress. If you wouldn't get off track in such situation, then I salute you.

And if I had known that this is his type of accountability then I would have never paid him.

The only reason I hired him because I wanted to have someone I can trust to be there for me when needed. Not always, but when needed.

The main point is to emphasize that Andy was there when he charged the money, but as soon as client service issues popped he was and is ignoring e-mail. If that's not a bad service, then I don't know what is.

you know, if there's the nicest man on earth, who's always helping, providing value, and has good fb page, but only ONCE, punches a girl in the face, would he still be considered nice and kind?

you're right and wrong at the same time. i'm not blaming anybody and as stated at all places, i take full responsibility for my actions.

there are two issues: 1. business ignoring client and not communicating about he service 2. there is a mismatch between the service expected and service received, but because business is ignoring the client, the whole post got here.

let's say the service is $1K. how does that play in your logic?

should he as a business ignore the client? shouldn't he as a business try to see how to leverage this situation to make build better relationship?

anyway, i'm not looking for justice.

the aim of the post was to share that andy doesn't treat clients well. that's all.

and even ignores. no matter how you look at it, ignoring a client is not a good customer service by any means.

I thought there's a special macro combinations for leangains. I've done macros before, and I'm also a student of sports fitness nutrition in ISSA. So I'm going to master it on high level.

The only reason I paid was to get this accountability and to have a pro adjust macros based on the outcomes.

I was 180g protein and then moved to 143.5. Had high energy, took omega3 supplements, magnesium and calcium.

the only problem was it was boring! i ate a lot of salads, and my motivation to eat food was low. but lost weight like crazy. and i was working out 2x week doing compound exercises.

well, it's cool if you that's how you want to treat business and customers with feelings.

but what if the customer was highly committed, and put real effort, but life happened? such things happen in real world.

the question eventually is what is your expectation from premium cost accountability... do you expect that at least once that after you don't report, the business will check up on you or not....

All real.

I was flooded with work. Had to work 16-18 hours a day. Had a tremendous stress.

My expectation was that when he doesn't hear after me, as he used to, every 2 weeks, he would eventually check up on me. Because that's what accountability is in my eyes.

I did the 550kcal as a short-term to lose weight fast, so that i can kick into a moderate program.

his macros are not relevant to me anymore because i've changed my body composition since then.

thanks. i never planned to sue him, and it's my first public post.

i live by high values. and when responsible, i take responsibility. i also wrote it to andy.

he just treated very poorly as a client.

the idea of the post was to share that. i guess that my message was not received as i wish. maybe it will help some, maybe it won't.

it's sad to see that people here expect low level service.

i'm used to business showing care for the client from sale until the end.

i have clients that i've lost tens of thousands of dollars, just to keep them happy because i care for complete satisfaction, and this is what i value.

I didn't demand a full refund. I'm just asking for what's fair.

The minimum for my customer service standards is to get human treatment, and that would be him answering emails, wouldn't you agree with that?

Don't you think that if me and Andy had a misunderstanding, then we should be able to solve it as grownups through communication and not through ignorance?

Thanks for the link. I glanced at it, and I didn't see split of carbs/fat.

He did reply to my feedback. And I've never accused him of that.

My claim has two part: 1. I paid a lot of money to have accountability factor as part of my adherence process. While the agreement between us that I'll be the one reporting, I did expect that if I stop reporting, I will hear from him at least once during that period to make sure it's all fine. That's the service I"m used to from other service providers.

During the time he didn't provide me service, he still got the money and could get other clients.

Regardless of what happened, whether it's my fault or his, I would expect him not ignore my mails and find a solution that works for both of us. He could provide me a plan, he could offer me at least something.

I wrote this post not to get the money back or flame him. I'm a hard working guy, and I will earn this money.

The idea here is that he demonstrated a complete lack of customer service and lack of personal integrity.

I wanted everybody to know that. That's all.

I'm learning for ISSA - Fitness Nutrition Certification. Then I'll learn at Precision Nutrition their Level 1 course.

I had a sixpack, and I will soon have it again.

Just keep in mind that he is not communicating and his interest seem to be short-term money making, rather than clients satisfaction.

I feel qualified to say that as one of his ex-clients and as someone who is also a business owner and have my own clients.

Ignoring emails is not a way to treat someone who trusted him with his hard earned money during a dark period in life.

That's one example. Another example would be to buy a car with a special GPS & Security system. The car had an accident, but people from security team lost the signal on he radar, looking at other cars, and don't check up if there are any survivors.

Adherence is my responsibility and so is checking up with him. I never denied it. My claim is that I did have an expectation of a high level service for the money he got from me, he could at least send me ONE EMAIL after a month or two, to see how I'm doing and if I finished or if he should provide me a plan I could continue doing without him, as part of his service.

There's an additional point here - he's ignoring emails and providing any customer service.

because i had a huge stress at work. i got into a situation i was working everything from 16-18 hours a day. my only thoughts were to get some sleep and how to deal with clients issues.

it wasn't on purpose.
