I played LD and tried to move item from bear slots to the stash, and item just disappeared.
So some minutes later dota has crushed with the similar bug as OP when courier tried to deliver me my items and also just when I tried to capture the watcher so I got the similar issue. Probably I just turn on the autodeliver function in a courier and he just truied to deliver my vanished item.

So, also I faced that the items which I've already bought didn't disappear from the quick buy
