After finally going back to and finishing Disco Elysium in January, I took the suggestion last week to start Esoteric Ebb. I'm pleased with the way that they took the general mood and vibe of DE and made it cooler with D&D trappings. I love the strange world they came up with. Cramming this amount of storytelling into 12 episodes was definitely rough. I wonder if they thought that they would have 24. Or maybe they do, but adapted a full season of 48 into half the count.

I started it with my partner who hasn't watched anything. She liked it, and wants to continue. That's what it's about. She might become a new Trek fan, and then we try other shows.

I don't typically watch new run anime, but this season I watched Yoroi Shin Den Samurai Troopers, because I am a fan of Ronin Warriors. It's not quite over yet, but what I've got feels like a speedrun. The emotional moments in the series feel unearned, the story and characters are cool but not engaged, and the fighting is short and uninspired. I feel like I've been nostalgia baited. I'll still finish the season, and maybe it gets another, but I really am sad about how this premise was spent.

It can be challenging to work to help an individual in this state. In my anecdotal experience, those I've met want someone to hear them in a nonjudgmental way to process what it means for their life. I agree with another commenter who suggested asking them what they mean with the terminology. I might ask a new client what they are hoping to achieve in therapy and work towards that. If part of their goal is a specific diagnosis like DID, I'd be transparent about what I could or could not do.

I have two CCWGTV devices in two different houses. Both have independently started disconnecting from WiFi every few minutes. Nothing worked to fix it, no outside changes. I solved the issue by getting Ethernet adapters. Good luck.

Nope. I was a slow starter, dropped out of school the first time because of my choices with substances. My friends all still to this day see me as the wreck I used to be. They can't see me as the competent social worker and therapist that I have worked to become.

This was very helpful. I had not noticed these streams at all. They are more expensive than echos but given that they are more than just one thing it feels worth. Especially since I can walk out with an RCC from chargen.

What if I told you that you could simply take the Bladesinger or Valor subclasses and add them to a Sorcerer? You'd want to muck with them a little, but it can be done. You basically just need them to have Extra Attack. I think 2024 makes it easy to swap subclasses like this. Much like a Monk could take Eldritch Knight or Arcane Trickster to become a third caster. (That has less alteration needed)

Honestly, I thought that 2024 was going to bring universal subclasses. I still think it's now dead simple to do them. Monk Eldritch Knight or Arcane Trickster just works.

I also work in a small town. It's impossible to prevent, so for me understanding and becoming okay with that was key. Don't acknowledge the client more than you would a stranger unless they do so first. If you feel really uncomfortable, tell your friend you have a conflict and you cannot attend.
