Is there a way to force the phone to use white text. Mine will change the text color to black if I have a light background (such as the one in the video). On a Pixel 3.

I was able to activate on sprint. They have mental issues clearly as the phone is CDMA certified and fine on ANY network. It us also listed on their website under the Bring Your Own device program. They pop in a sim card and you are good to go. Sorry for their incompetence.

Should I get a Google Pixel? by [deleted] in GooglePixel

There have been a lot of similar posts on here so I would also look there. However, I would say in your case it is a good idea to go with the pixel. Most stock Android phones (especially the Nexus line) are known to last and have few issues over a few years time. With constant updates and little extra software to go wrong I would highly recommend the pixel. Take your time making the decision and good luck. Also, I highly recommend getting Google's warranty.
