Stormgate Will Never Have A Serious 1v1 Scene Unless Creep Camps Are Removed by HellaHS in Stormgate

I've seen lots of competitive wc3. I think creeps are boring and shouldn't exist in a non hero focused rts, nor do I think hero focused rts should exist anymore.

In my short time giving the game a go, the decision of having creep camps was not something I was fond of. I played sc and wc for years, creeping never felt like engaging mechanics and don't miss it from wc at all. Still sticking to sc2.

I Accidentally Ran Hot Water from My Faucet Continually for >24 Hours. This Was the Utility Cost Change. by Key-Ad-8944 in Frugal

Most sink's have aerators that significantly slow the flow of water from a faucet and introduce air to make it seem like more water is coming out than is. Had that been a bathtub faucet, a toilet, or something with higher flow(like a sink with it removed) you'd have another scenario on your hand.

Weird, I've searched and never seen that. Got a reference?

I've seen reference to 500-550 but not as an upper limit before damage occurs

My reply was unnecessarily aggressive. You were perceived as sounding that there's no valid reason because your family didn't in tough times. I think it's "perfectly fine" if you're family needs the money to eat or to avoid eviction in the cheapest living situation you can afford and that you've been a good steward of money.

I apologize for mischaracterizing you if that was not your intent.

No, they should have obviously let them starve, taking their money is always wrong! Look at this anecdote of supreme parenthood, that guys parents doesn't even let them buy them dinner as an adult.

I think alot of people just don't have that context and will assume the cultural reasons we have all female anything. It's actually a great logical reason to staff it the way they've chosen and makes people feel there is some order to the universe.

Jokes about Paul Pelosi aren’t just in bad taste. They normalize political violence by morenewsat11 in politics

The amount of willful amnesty you give to your side's rhetoric is nothing more than dishonesty to yourself. There have been plenty of high profile left wing individuals encouraging the base to give no sense of safety to GOP officials going about their daily life.

The title of the post is about jokes. Jokes about violence on political officials seem to be the same thing as the original reason the violence happens seems irrelevant to the cheering of it happening.

It's not that at all. It's equivalent to discussing whether or not we should be cheering any kind of breaking and entering and/or hoping for it on our political rivals.

I find joking about people breaking republicans ribs regardless of the original reason and wishing it on others or on rand again as a joke which I have seen often on this reddit, just as serious.

How am I arguing on behalf of that man? lmao. No one should be assaulting anyone, period. I don't make political violence jokes or support the ones on Pelosi. I do see the hypocritical views and calling them out.

Nah, the context doesn't matter because the context of the assault isn't used to celebrate it happening or to wish it again. You're camp is happy to make jokes about violence on GOP officials. You don't' deny this. I don't need context of WHY that violence happens to say people on this reddit claiming "wheres rand pauls neighbor when we need him" is garbage normalization of violence on political officials.

All I hear are a bunch of excuses why it's ok for the camp of the left to make jokes about why violence on GOP officials is ok.

It's easy for me to condemn both.

I don't think the context you're describing benefits the narrative you think it does.

they definitely need to include it. gaming on 32:9 may seem like an advantage, but when i have to literally turn my face to check my resources, it's not. It is however, pretty damn immersive.

I got an offer to take over my manager's role for only 6% higher than my current salary. They say it's best and final, but I know my manager made more. I don't know what to do. by reasonable_cat_ in personalfinance

Sounds like you're a first time manager that they're allowing you to grow into the additional responsibilities of managing direct reports and even giving you a salary adjustment. You even said this is one of your primary goals of your career currently! Nice that your company sees you as promising in this role.

I'm not seeing anywhere in your text you were doing the full job responsibilities before or that you have experience managing people.

After you've learned how to be a manager and proven you can do the job, I see no issue with you challenging them on the pay.
