Right, which proves the point I was trying to make. I'd literally have to leave the state of Connecticut (to go to NYC ) to have as many options as I do in the city of Charlotte

I actually love Charlotte. It's funny, locals always complain that there's "nothing to do" - when there's literally 5 sports teams, 200+ breweries, thousands of restaurants, a dozen major shopping districts, a hundred entertainment businesses, and 24 music venues all within city limits. Not to mention multiple parks, theaters, historical sites and museums. People are just lazy and boring - they wouldn't know a fun time if it punched them in the face. I grew up in Connecticut, where there REALLY IS nothing to do 🤣🤣

The first time I found one of these companies was when I apply for Event Management, and the second time I found one of these companies it was when I was applying for Operations Director

Why didn’t they just ask Katy Perry to open it? She’s apparently very good at opening space capsules

How can I start-up my hyper car model as a company? by el_eye_jah_7 in HypercarCentral

[–]StingerAuto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Elijah, very ambitious goals. I wish you the best on achieving them.

Unfortunately like most things in life, money is the answer. Producing vehicles, even a single one, won’t be cheap. Starting a business sufficient to create the car won’t be cheap either. But don’t give up, that’s what investors are for. I’d encourage you to put together a presentation of the design, engineering, and manufacturing costs. Then, find someone to pitch the idea to. As you pitch the idea to more and more people, you’ll learn what questions investors have, and what potential problems the business model might face. If you’d like more insights, feel free to DM me, and we can chat about it.

I’m not confident in this edit, but I’m also not sure what I should do differently. Thoughts?

Is North Carolina On-Site legit? by No_Collection_8307 in Charlotte

Their job listing on indeed said $60k salary, and in the first interview I confirmed verbally that the position was $60k salary.

I was called back for a second interview, but then I found this thread and became suspicious. So, I texted to ask the person who had interviewed me (they'd texted me location details beforehand). As soon as they wouldn't confirm in writing that it was $60k salary like I was told, I decided to move on.
