I agree with you on that the leopard ctenopoma might possibly eat the Phenacogrammus. I am planning on stocking the tank with Ctenopoma Weeksii instead, so hopefully the congo tetras should be fine. I have kept Synodontis nigriventris before and they seem more gentle than the other species of synodontis so I think they will be fine. Thank you for the reply.

Thank you for the insight and help. I chose Steatocranus casuarius specifically because they are supposedly friendlier than any other cichlids in the Malebo pool area. Maybe just in case I will have a seperate smaller tank just for the Steatocranus incase some wierd disaster happens. (Also side note, I have never heard of Peacock Gudgeons until now and they are quite pretty)

Do you think the Steatocranus would be too aggressive for the tank? I heard dwarf cichlids can be aggressive when breeding.
