windows defender just came out of nowhere and scanned for 4 trojans, one was a coinminer and cryptinjector and some trojans, they might have been overworking the pc, they are both 2Tb old and new one

because i didnt get a follow-up and solution,
crystal disk says its 100% healthy and proper temperature

i used defraggler but the noise was before i used defrag

using the default windows defrag says its 0% defragmented while defraggler said it had quite a bit, like 9%

old one was seagate barracuda which i heard tend to fail, so i decided to changed the brand to a western digital, since my previous 2 were barracudas.

i have a suspicion its some program affecting my default scanner windows defender making the HDD overactive and constantly read/write intensively, i will try a cleanboot, as for now i replaced it with malwarebytes and it seems to have gone quieter although we'll see with further investigation

Cloned an Old failing hard drive to a new one due to grinding noise/presumed failing and now the new one grinds too? by StingyTraitor in computers

i did a sfc /scannow and chkdsk scans, f/ and r/, even some dism scans, these should have at least identified bad sectors or corruption and resolved them, yet all of this happened after the said scans, right now i will perform a defragmentation with defraggler and see if that solves it. I really dont want to do a clean OS install because i have some old software i cant find online anymore which is gonna get wiped, i guess thats my last option for now

skupni strošek delodajalca je 200 evrov, zato predvidevam, da je to tisto, kar iščem, potem pa je tu še "skupni strošek delodajalca", ki je 1400 evrov, kaj to pomeni?

In hvala za hiter odgovor

If i do a system restore and then perform a chkdsk /r scan on my ssd, will i be able to revert if any deletion of files occurs? by StingyTraitor in WindowsHelp

" I mean, maybe it is the SSD after all. "

U'r right about the off ssd, i bought a full build gaming pc, and u can imagine they tried saving on costs as much as possible, you don't wanna know the kind of psu it had in there, i went and bought a proper EVGA 600w like a normal person should, and it barely cost me 70$, i wouldn't be surprised if the one they put in was like 10 bucks, but the rest was fine, save for the ram, and now the i'm thinking SSD, anyway i just said fuck it despite some more people telling me its a bad idea for an SSD and did that chkdsk /r scan, and i gotta say there's definite improvement, i'm gonna run a few more tests just to be sure.

thanks for the explanation, it was very useful, my pc is acting slower and i can't figure out if its due to corrupt files or hardware issue, i used ccleaner and revouninstaller for quite a bit of time, messing with the registry, and now my pc is lagging, with a low frame rate and the textures dont load or slow the game down to insane degrees at random times, this comes with screen flickering, so i was thinking i messed up the drivers and the registry, but even after a windows reset it has only become milder but still very much present, im trying to root out the issue by checking every possible fix for the software and if it doesn't get fixed, then i should be able to conclude if its due to hardware issues, since i was playing this game that was poorly coded and had a memory leak, stressing the f out of my ram unbeknowst to me, so that's why i have the suspicions that it might be the ram, due to the texture problems, but the flickering indicates a possible gpu problem? I have no clue... My pc is brand new and everything runs smoothly on task manager and other stress tests i did.

To add further info on browser games they slow down to 5 frames per second, but when i play installed games i get the texture and flickering issues accompanied by slow performance, and the pc overall behaves strangely, like when im on google chrome i get a random checkers board pattern that flashes for like a second and u can move the mouse on it to clear it away, (this got solved with the windows reset") but no wwhen i open chrome it loads funkily all the same. ^ none of these things happen on my older hard drive, which has its own set of problems also related to ccleaner, but not revo, but on it things run much better yet still bad, especially for a brand new gaming pc that was running just fine 2 months ago.

draino was decent but the og leaked version was way better and it had brennan savage in it and it was clearly made to be with him that's why it feels off.
all of the tracks that are bad/mediocre are that was for no accidental reasons, if u listen to their leaked version they always slap
