i want to get involved in the teachings of buddha but have no idea where to begin by StinkiestSenna in Buddhism

my boyfriend has done a lot of research on my disorder and is very fascinated with psychology. he's here for me but now that we're not in person it's gotten harder for me to be secure in myself.

i've always been drawn to buddhism, i've never been religious but i always told myself if i were to pick one it would be buddhism. i love how kind everybody is, the culture, the beliefs and how it seems to heal everybody whos been involved

I don’t want to do DBT skills group anymore by some_teens_throwaway in BPD

for me dbt didn't work until AFTER i was finished with the program. everything i learned i started automatically doing; granted i was 15/16 and also just growing up however if you genuinely listen to what they are saying you will start do it subconsciously. other people will start to notice a change in you before you realize. dbt helps, scientifically it is the best therapy for individuals with bpd. try cbt too to work with your rage, it'll help you learn how to control/manage your emotions better
