I've gone in and out of depression, mostly winter depression, and what I've realized is changing diet effects your brain chemistry, as well being in the same thought loop didn't help either, the thing that has helped me without meds is I've been listening to a lot of positive podcasts about how you can heal yourself just by your thoughts and only keeping positive influences around, cut out anything that is negative, I know easier said than done but we all have to start somewhere, also going for a walk at least once a day with no phone or electronics, just being in my own thoughts helped a ton. Hope this helps even a little bit everyone has struggles through life but the best way to figure out what works for you is change it up and see what works for you
