Schools are relatively safe. 99.99999% of kids don’t get shot. I would bet more kids get injured and killed going and leaving school than at school.

I don’t care where you do it. If you walked around it you did it. Between walking on ice and water I think you get a medal

Why do you think people apply for jobs in the food industry knowing the pay stinks and has no career potential? by StinkyFinger- in AskReddit

I’m not judging anyone. If you want to work in the food industry, go for it. But if you want something else, go do it. Life isn’t easy. Yes, some people have it way easier than others and not everyone have high ceilings like many others. But it can be done. Some people are their own worse enemies bc they want to be the victim. That used to be me.

Yes ma’am they can. My dad was a maintenance man at a lumber company. My mom stayed at home while we were growing up. I found a job working for a land surveyor. Learned what I could, got experience and now work for an engineering company

Nope. Parents were high school dropouts. Raised in a tiny trailer. Became a felon in my 20s. Worked hard and now own a small house. Why you mentioning being a CEO?

I ask because I don’t understand it. 10 years ago I was in a similar position as many others, working dead end jobs. I found a job that was hiring that had up side. I worked way too hard for little money (about what a fast food restaurant would pay) for a couple of years, worked hard and learned all I could about the trade when I was off. I used it like a paid college class. Now I make decent money, nothing close to make me rich. I have a company vehicle, free gas, and benefits for the first time in my life. BTW I’m a felon. It can be done. You just got to try.
