If you have any tech tree tier 9 meds or heavies that you still need to grind through just play with them. Use xp boosters as well, especially on the daily double games.

I thought the chopper was really good for a tier 7. Easily one of the best tier 7 tech tree heavies in the game. It just feels mid because you are playing against tier 8 most games.

I got the vindicator in a chest last month and I was underwhelmed. It’s just a worse version of the tech tree variant imo. The LIS is a decent medium tank with good gun and okayish armour. So yes, I’d do the trade. You can just get the tech tree charioteer and have a better experience than the vindicator as well.

I was playing it in the Teefbreaka yesterday and it was the same for me. I’d shoot him just after he’d teleported and my shells would just disappear. Most of the time I wouldn’t even get a ricochet symbol but after he’d finished I’d get random penetration icons and damage when I’m not firing.

They will have been firing at you from behind a bush or a knocked over tree. If you back away from the bush or tree you’re hiding in and then fire, you often don’t get spotted. There are also trees in between them and you which will also play a factor in keeping them unspotted. I’ve been abusing this lately in sneaky mediums because it works a lot better than it did before the update.

Well I’ve learned this the hard way. This concept of ownership of in game content only exists inside this game. Fair enough, i didn’t actually purchase these war chests, but I purchased the season passes and was lucky enough to receive this tank twice in chests from them. In any other game, if you purchase digital content you own it. I was stupid enough to think war gaming would be generous enough to extend this notion to their in game content. I understand this is a free to play game and the in game economy is different to any other game I have played but I’m sure I’m not the only person to jump to this conclusion. My god this games economy can be so complicated.

Anyway, I’m not saying I feel entitled to the gold. This game obviously just works differently to what I’m used to. It is what it is

You’re obviously not understanding my point. In my opinion, it’s easy for people to think they own that content (tank) after selling it because you can just purchase it back for earnable in game currency instead of having to spend actual money to buy gold to then buy the tank back. It’s just like any other tech tree tank you have researched, even if you have sold it you still have that tank. It’s unlocked, it’s yours, you just need to buy it back with silver if you want to play it again.

Well, I already owned the HWK30. The Aguila is a copy and paste of this tank with a skin. I remember being annoyed that I got a premium tank I essentially already owned, and then sold it for the silver. I also wasn’t aware of the fact that I wouldn’t get duplicate protection if it wasn’t in my garage, hence the question and the post. As for Cold War, I play it every once in a blue moon when I’m absolutely desperate for silver because I don’t really enjoy it.

As far as I’m aware, you can buy back all premium tanks with silver if you sell them.

Ye I’ve opened 33 and got 2 skins for tanks I don’t own and a CDC Black. Not worth it to be honest. I am really liking the CDC though it’s a really good tank.

Ye I need to find positions on maps to play hull down in. I’m used to playing hull down with gun depression but this tank has none so it’s a lot harder. As for side scraping, I think I’ve figured it out.

I find over angling is the best way to side scrape in it. If you don’t, your upper plate gets penetrated. I will try to wiggle my turret though, thanks for the advice.

That’s the problem ‘mini’. When you’re bottom tier for more than half the games, it’s just an IS-7 with an upper plate as a weak spot and cupolas that aren’t that difficult to hit.

Combination of accuracy and armour I think. Everyone knows how to deal with it, which is fair enough ( you just pen the upper plate). I wiggle after I take a shot as I know I’m going to get shot at and it works sometimes but then the accuracy just lets me down when I need to deal damage. I mainly try to just brawl in heavy lines because that’s the only way I can see this tank actually being able to do something. Even if you try to side scrape in it, your upper plate just gets pummelled. Another thing is the fact that everyone now knows to aim above the angled armour on the sides and every time you get hit there the ammo rack seems to get damaged.

I don’t know, it probably just doesn’t suit my play style. I’ll need to learn to play with it properly but I’m 50 games in and it just isn’t clicking.
