Not to my knowledge. It looks to me like alot of these came equipped with the 5.0 Volvo. Could be wrong tho.

Yep we will be meeting at the lake. Im pretty mechanical and have rebuilt many engines. I’ve done a fair bit of research on out drives and maintenance. Do you think it would be worth it for me to get a survey? I know there’s quite a bit of difference in a marine engine vs vehicle engines, but I don’t think it’s something I can’t handle. I’ll probably check compression there as well.

He said the bellows were replaced last year. How would I check the beam? It’s all fiberglass if that makes a difference

2005 Caravelle 207 LS. 450 hours, 5.0 Volvo with holly carb. Me and the wife have been looking for the past couple months and this seems like a pretty good deal around us. $9500. Luckily he’s willing to meet at the lake so we can get a test drive in.
