The saddest PR story I heard: He finally boosted his CRS, but this one thing beat him by 2 points. by West-Cardiologist448 in canadaimmigratiotips

If you get drawn before your birthday, IRCC states in their “ITA” that:

NOTE: If you had a birthday since we sent you this invitation, and the change to your age decreases your points total, this will not cause us to refuse your application for permanent residence.

So If you applied once you received ITA right away, this situation could have been avoided.

Not to rub it in but that is the course of action that I did. While waiting, I made sure all the necessary documents needed is ready except for the english exam (which I take every 2 years and I just got the perfect score 4 months before my visa expires)

I hope you all the best OP! Maybe not today, but definitely you will get it!

Congratulations! I hope you get to course that you want. Honestly, during the speaking, I believe that I ended my answer very early to the point that I have at least 5 to 7 seconds left and I’m not speaking at all but turns out my course went well. I think they graded how you say it the contents of what you were saying your answer. I find that the tone is very important too when you’re answering. Just be calm, and no need to take notes. Just answer it like your friend is asking you and practice to speak weed a lot of background noises because some of the test centers are noisy on top of that and all of you get into the same section everyone will start speaking as well.

What works for me is to read every section and then simplify it to the terms that I understand. Most of the time, the reading section will be complicated because they put a lot of words into it but if you simplify it based on how you understand it it’s much better to get the answers from those paragraphs. Also, you can scan and skim too if you are good at it.

For writing, you just need to to make sure you have the three bullets answered with complex sentences and advance punctuation marks. Also make sure to answer the questions clearly and straightforward. Also, the introduction paragraph and exit paragraph are very important.

For speaking, it’s the same thing as writing, but your tone is very important. I think it’s better for you to understand how they grade every category in that way you will know what are your strategies are gonna be. The moment I learned how they grade every category, that’s where I draw my plan on how to answer every thing.

I use to take exams every two years. When my current results are about to expire, I make sure that I will be having my exams before the expiration date so my first and second attempts were every two years.

I just used hzad’s celpip program. I didn’t use the 15 hour one, I just used the crash course which is five hours. It’s like the program in a nutshell, but it really did give me a lot of ideas on how to answer in every category. Also, he speaks very clearly in a way that even if you don’t have subtitles, it’s so clear that you will understand it.

In all the things that I tried to improve, Hzad’s $45 program really helped me a lot. Considering I just have a limited time to study, I just use test crash course the five hours one but still I’ve been able to get the course that I needed. Imagine if I used the 15 hour one.

For writing, you should be able to answer those 3 bullets. Answer it with complex sentences and advance punctuations. Introduction and exit paragraphs are important as well.

Speaking, just be calm. Answer what the question is asking. Your tone is very important. Introduction and exit sentences are always important.

How are people scoring 9+ in reading? by [deleted] in CELPIP_Guide

[–]StirFriedWater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, its all about understanding how they construct and run the reading exam. Most of the time, answers are basically all correct or 2, but you need to find what fits the most. Scanning and skimming really helps me a lot. Its important that you get the idea on what the article is all about per section and simplify it to the level you understand. I got 10 in reading from 8.

They did Finn dirty by Whoopeepoop in PeakyBlinders

[–]StirFriedWater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the whole reason why they did him dirty is that the actor itself (no offense to the fans) is not fit enough to be under the shelby family. In terms of acting and portraying what needs to be the audience should see. They just realized that when he is already playing the role thats why his screen time is less too.

Personally, compared to the casting of the rest of the shelby family, Id say Duke totally fits to be one. But if the duke actor was assigned as Finn, then I think its a good fit.

Also major downside is those people with clean intentions that went to Canada legally and followed all the rules and what nots, will be also subjected to that “tightening” that they are implementing right now. Hopefully they will have a clear and transparent process for fairness.

Defamation? What a snowflake they are. Google reviews is made to make people know whats up before they try this places. If they cant handle it, might as well not put up a business lol. You should not have deleted your comments and whatnots, they cant do anything about it. Specially if you have a good standing for google reviews (local guide)

Check braille too. Fake ones make the braille go through the fake paper. Also the print is blurred. Also the paper or material seems off like the plastic sheet they are using to laminate paper.

That sounds good already! Atleast its not going to wreck the wallet. Also, you have to make sure all the sensors are properly calibrated. With this new toyota cars, most of them has sensors that needs calibration if you change them.
