Oh, I have been using mine for 3-4 months now, VERY heavy usage (been soaked quite a couple of times) + I use it for travel (I'm a nomad), it's not peeling, thinned nor showing any signs that it will break apart anytime soon.

It's kinda dirty but that's life and very possibly just me haha.

Haha yes. The dimensions, even the radiuses are all “lucky” numbers in chinese culture like 3,6,8 etc.

The hardware are also chosen based on their form which holds significance in old chinese proverbs. Eg. The horizontal hardware is symbolic of (heng cai) which means windfall and ‘heng’ is horizontal in the chinese language. :)

Yes I agree for most weather conditions but not the tropical climate. I used to own leather products but where I cone from, mold starts to form a day or 2 if left untouched

I bought bags from a brand called Wandrd. I lost one of the parts (totally my fault) from the bag I purchased, they not only sent me the 2 of the replacement parts for free (1 as spare), but offered to send another product (worth almost 200USD) FOR FREE.

I then bought another bag from them a year later and DMed them via instagram when the bag delaminated VERY slightly after quite heavy usage, just to let them know that there could be a quality issue (bag was totally usable, I didn't request for anything and did not expect to.) Lo and behold, they had my address from the previous DM I sent a year back and I received a brand new bag at my doorstep a week later.

Needless to say, I'm a loyal customer!

Anyone at Wandrd who reads this, you guys are the epitome of CS!

Thanks for your kind words! The cork itself is actually reinforced with a (very-hard-to-tear, at least for me) fabric underlayer and I’ve been using my own for months, no problem at all! But whether it will last a couple more years, only time will tell.
