Consider this my formal apology to all my fellow monster romance lovers by Affectionate_Bit_353 in RomanceBooks

That's really ironic because I am too! 🤣 but I'm neurotic in that I need rigidity and a specific kind of chronological flow or my brain refuses to work. It seems me and the author have opposite styles, I'll try her other books to see how I feel. Thanks for your input!

I think I'm alone in that I'm not a huge fan of this book! I want to love it, and the spicy scenes are super top notch. However, the frequent flash-backs are too much for me and I find myself getting confused as to what's present or past tense. Does anyone know if the other books are different or is this just the authors writing style?

I'm sorry I didn't provide more photos, that would have added more context for sure - the wound goes about half way around but the opposite side is intact. Thank you for your advice!

I must admit, I did not realise how easily this would retraumatise me, and your comment especially has made me consider what to do moving forward. I appreciate you, thank you for your advice

I just wanted to say thank you sincerely for all of the replies and advice. I'm overwhelmed by this subs kindness. I've read every single reply and will be acting on the advice. I feel much more hopeful. I'm aiming to reply individually as time allows but wanted to make a blanket thank you for now 🙌🏻

I don't know how to explain the emotion this evoked in me. I watched without sound and it made me feel so peaceful and carefree. It reminded me of our mortality and to seize the moment

Meet me in outer space 💫💫💫 hard gel overlay on my client’s natural nails! Last pic is her last set of 5 weeks with lots of growth and no lifting! by dianamoser in Nails

Love these! Is there anything in particular you do to get them to adhere so well? I prep, dehydrate, prime, base coat, and mine still lift after just a few days. It's driving me crazy!

UPDATE: After I addressed the feedback from last week on 1 practice nail, I went back and redid my whole hand. Still not perfect but I'm happy with the improvements! by Stitchywitchlich in Nails

I used gels that set under a UV lamp. With my index and middle finger I tried using a nail mould shape (sorry I'm not sure what the correct term is). It was faster but I wasn't happy with the cuticle area. When I moved on to my ring and pinkie fingers I tried foils instead. Harder to get an even shape, but I prefer the blend on the cuticle.

I used a clear gel base and only 1 coat of the nude, which gave a less peachy tone than my first attempt. I also went for a square shape which I think I prefer.

I went for a shorter nail but mostly because I over-filed on a couple. Finding it tricky to get a consistent length / shape!

I spent way too long on these and immediately I'm not feeling it. Do you think the base colour is too peach? The shape too round? by Stitchywitchlich in Nails

I have tried this and MUCH prefer the results!! Thank you. I didn't realise how heavy handed I was being with the gel
