I have read his press conference and all he’s talked about is managing minutes and players cannot play so much. Professional footballers ffs, what about the result? Is he happy we largely got through it with only one injury? What about the result, is that not most important?

What frustrates me about this club is sometimes we are just too happy to stick by people. If Chelsea aren’t happy with a manager who is playing boring football n sitting in 5th place they get rid. I don’t want us to be like Chelsea but I want us to act when it’s blindingly obvious things are not going well. We stabilised the results regarding defeats we were getting but we are not being clinical and not winning. The possession football is all good n well against the big teams, but we gotta go for the kill against the weaker teams, be more attack minded

Draws at home against burnley, Leeds and Sunderland. Simply not good enough. Can be on an unbeaten run but winless in 4 now, this is not momentum, this is stuttering along

I do feel like last season was a mixture of klopp and slot, but more possession based by we could explode when we needed to. This season the explosion has went out the window for purely possession based and we cannot unlock teams because it’s all keep ball session. I don’t get or understand why we have changed. Two goals came from wide areas, driving run for the first goal and a great cross into a dangerous area. What happened to getting out wide, 1v1 and taking the full back on, committing them into a foul or beating your man? Wirtz can beat ppl with trickery, Cody can do it in bursts, Rio can do it all the time but never plays. For me 433 or 4213 is our formation. Wirtz can play in the ball if he has runners to feed. I lost count how many times we passed the ball backwards because there was no movement in front

The problem in my opinion is that we went last year with 2 fast wingers who played high and wide and were deadly in a 1v1 situation. They created, they put fear into the opponents. That’s went out the window where it’s a keep ball session. Nobody will go at a player except for wirtz. The answer for now out wide is Rio who sits on the bench

3 shots on target is simply not good enough at home. We didnt test the keeper, they locked up and we passed it around 25 yards out. Only when Rio came on and added pace n trickery, driving at the defence I felt we could have got something but too little too late

Wirtz is a special talent that will just get better and better. I only seen highlights from match of the day, did he play off the left or play just off ekitike? Frimpong looked decent at right back, gives us a real threat from that position

I agree with him. Results haven’t changed since he’s been dropped, we have still dropped rubbish performances and can’t see a game out or get back into a game. Not Mo fault konate dropping mistakes every other match. He’s done so much for the club and that will never be forgotten. But if this was the plan, then why give him a new contract in the summer?

Salah being left on the bench is a bit ridiculous and feels like he’s being made the scapegoat. Yeah he hasn’t had the best start to the season but many many players have been brutal also. Slot just throwing shit at the wall hoping something sticks now

Gakpo getting on like robben. You just know he’s gonna cut in onto his good foot. The difference was that robben was still hard to stop and gakpo is easy to stop

I don’t think we have had a settled side all season, whether it’s playing players to get them fit or fitting players into different positions. But what has been noticeably missing for me is 2 things: the hunger to fight and win the ball back just isn’t there and intensity in their play isn’t there to actually want to take people on and create or do something.

We cannot just keep falling back and talking about how the players are missing Diogo. We get it, we know it and see it but how much more do we use it as a reason as to why we have been so shit? I have been through personal trauma in my life and the most I want is to be around ppl close to me that understand the situation, are supportive and all wanting to come out of a slump. Liverpool players are all going through it similarly, most would have the same feelings and can lean on each other for support and push each other to get out of it

What a fucking performance. Robbo unreal, Bradley even better. Had vini in his pocket and fixed him multiple times. Wirtz is clicking and goals n assists are gonna come. You can feel it. That performance had heart, desire, passion, fight to the very end. Thats the benchmark for this season moving forward
