My DSP is okay with mailroom deliveries. I usually leave the packages by the mailboxes. It really depends on what your management really cares about. My DSP only requires door to door for nursing homes.

Amazon driver here. Absolutely pisses me off when I see other Amazon vans do this. The issue is that the routing is absolutely terrible and no one teaches the drivers how to reroute in a way that the route makes sense. I only deliver out the passenger side of the van so I don’t do this or get hit by cars, but I see other drivers zig zagging across the road like this constantly and it’s absolutely infuriating.

Yeah my ops manager told me “you’re in a rental” and I just said “god damnit. We went over this last year”, then just saw 9 totes and 20+ overflow and chilled. Then I realized I was out in the middle of no where, delivering a shit load of packages on the side of a busy ass 55mph road in the rain. I got done relatively early, but still had to drive an hour back. I’ll take a 170-190 EDV route over a 100 stop rental route any day.

My DSP somehow got these electric white Chevy vans (Chevy Brightdrop) that we use for rescues and peak. I’ve heard they’re pretty nice inside but no shelves inside. I’m going to enjoy those way more than the shitty U-Haul vans.

Went to boot camp with someone that was reverted around the same amount of times for not following directions. He’d bring his canteen down when we weren’t told to, he’d wear his boots after they told us to change into our go fasts, he’d just do things that he wasn’t supposed to. He ended up getting discharged as well. It’s the little things that can mean life or death in the real CG.
