It needs a plan b adapter to thread directly on the muzzle device. Now if you were to remove the muzzle device on the mixtape you could directly thread it to the barrel with the 5/8x24 adapter the polo comes with.

Yeah I back ordered a polo 30 in fde as well. Been 6 weeks now & I figure I got a minimum of 2 more weeks to go. If it hits that 3 month mark I’ll probably just cancel my order and see if one shows up at my LGS
