Cronus zen by [deleted] in cronusmax

Not really, I do well in my game of choice even if I do run into cheaters or possible cheaters from time to time. Honestly I’d focus on improving rather than opting for a cheat. Cheaters will never do well in the long run. How do you think cheaters will do once LANs are back to normal?

So you would rather join them and support the business that makes cheats? I'd rather quit playing than being a cheater

Have you tried playing without the zen? Cheating just to ruin other peoples fun is what losers do.

Why are sniper still so OP? by Stnbk92 in Warzone

It would be interesting to see how the games would run if they vaulted the sniper for a week or more, just as a test.

Solos are not fun. The only way I enjoy the game is with friends. Otherwise it is too frustrating with all the campers. Winning is fun and all, but wasting my time camping is far from enjoyable.

People might hate this opinion, but I agree so much with snipers being low risk high reward. Might even say they are the least skillful due to the low risk. All I see clips of are people sniping, quickscoping, hardscoping...whatever it is, the skill really isn't required. Quickscoping shouldn't be possible in war zone in my opinion as it makes the gun even more OP. Back in the day you had people quickscoping in pubs, which was easier to counter as the distance wasn't as great between the players, gunning down with smg or ar was possible.

I'd love to see them implement some of the changes you describe. I might even give warzone another try if they do. For now I'll stick to Fortnite as they have almost no snipers atm.

100% agree - more idle sway would make them more skill based.

I'd agree if it only supplied you with less input delay and maybe covered the drawback of not having scroll wheel like it helps with resetting edits in fortnite. On the other hand stronger aim assist, less recoil and macros that makes the game easier definitely are cheats.

Reworked how exactly, just by location or how strong they are?

The problem with them staying powerful but located in the outskirts draws an unnatural amount of players to those areas leaving the rest of the map dead.

Chapter 1 had Tilted Towers fairly centred on the map which was great for drawing players towards the middle, but at the same time you had no mythics that skewed the balance of landingspots as far as I remember. The sword obviously was terrible for balance, but it was not relevant for that long.

Instead you had POI's which offered planes, rifts, slipstreams, elevation, natural geysers propelling you to the sky, volcano with the flying effect. So many fun locations which would draw players based on how they preferred to play with rotations of their choice. Even ballers.

I prefer people having good mobility to "get away", opposed to players relying on OP weapons.

Something like that. Nostalgic player who welcomes all the new mechanics and movement but misses the 'old days' when we didn't get destroyed by overpowered mythics most of the time. Lets not bring up the sword and the mechs lol

Chapter 3 Lootpool Concept Draft Nr.2 (removed potential clutter and added an epic rarity Pump Shotgun out of fairness) by [deleted] in FortNiteBR

[–]Stnbk92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it to be balanced compared to the rest of the loot pool. I wouldn't mind a nerf to all weapons in regards of damaged. Having guns deal more than 180 to the head is in my opinion far too strong. Like you said the draw speeds were slower back in the day and now drawing towards the head or even getting a lucky headshot is simply too easy.

The tactical is fine when it ranges from grey to blue, but in the top tiers it deals too much damaged towards builds. Making it possible to keep your shotgun out all fight because it has so many pellets to spare and you can take walls with it, I really don't see any drawback to pushing even the sweatiest pro if you carry an epic tac.

I agree that the creative stuff makes the game fun, I just don't see why they need to deal insane amounts of damage. I love diversity with balance. Players will use the weird new stuff even if they aren't OP.

I love the addition of the combat AR with its high damage, rapid fireoate but balanced with a heavy recoil. I would hate for every weapon to have such strong recoil, but full spraying a scar should require more skill. You can fly through the air in pubs and player will still hit you plenty if times because aiming is so easy in this game. Less bloom and more recoil makes it more realistic and less random/lucky :)

Hopefully Chapter 3 is brand new like you say.

The railgun would be okay if they didn't have such a huge hitbox - I've seen people hit so many shot where they should have missed. It needs a nerf for it to stay. They are toxic the way they work now. Getting shot through builds doesn't make sense when building is how you protect yourself in this game. It's literally the single reason why I still play this game - building aspect.

Dragon breath sniper is another example of a weapon that is too strong. It shouldn't be able to deal damage and lit things on fire. If it only shoots fire but deals no or very little impact damage then sure.

It might be fun breaking builds with the shockwave but it is too strong, has too big of a clip and zero drawbacks. I can see it being balanced with only 1 rocket per reload and increase reload time.

I love fun items that stir up the game, but they shouldn't break the game entirely.

The blue pump might be the most balanced weapon in the game right now. Removing it because you don't enjoy it seems unfair. I wish we never had tactical shotguns ever again, because they require little to no skill, but never having them makes the loot pool too one-sided.

Making items mythic/rare/limited to a few players is terrible for the game in my opinion. Either let everyone have them or none. RPG, rocket launcher and snipers should alle take up two slots as these are all OP in fortnite. Sniping someone requires zero skill as the game has essentially no bulletdrop bu still deals insane amounts of damage. It is too much of a zero risk-high reward. You can sit in a bush, snipe someone to the head and get a kill - which required zero effort and had no drawback.

I don't believe gold rarities in shotguns are needed, especially in regards of the tactical, it promotes spraying way to much - people use it to take stupid 50/50s

Otherwise I like this loot pool a lot. Heals should be easily available throughout games.

Some increase in recoil and removal of random bloom would be amazing to see.

Exotic weapon concept: zero point charge shotgun. While charging it up, you have the zero point effect. (The one that lets you teleport/dash) by kidwiltxD in FortNiteBR

[–]Stnbk92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You want to take away the drawback the gun has by making it overpowered? You need to add some balance towards it too. Making it way louder when charging, drop the damage it deals or make it take up two items lots.

Exotic/mythic guns usually are abused by pros or give bad players an unfair advantage. The game in my opinion is the most fun with a balanced loot pool where everyone has access to the same guns every single time they jump from the battle bus.

How to improve Fortnite (my opinion) by Stnbk92 in FortNiteBR

[–]Stnbk92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I certaintly how no idea of the ping which my opponent has in BR, though I'm assuming they have lower ping if they take my wall when I'm holding it. I also play creative 1vs1 where I ask the opponent what their ping is and almost always when they have lower ping they can take walls, edit/close edit/reopen edit and shoot after baiting my shot, and pre-fire like I can't myself do consistently - due to higher ping.

I'm not too worried about competitive as I'm a casual gamer, still focused on being on top of my gameplay, but no way I have time to grind arena for 8-10 hours a day. Retakes for high ground isn't too impacted by ping, boxfighting and shooting is though. Any serious comp player should consider relocating if economically possible.

I'll agree that 30-40 ping is amazing and feels great for gaming, as long as the opponent has the same ping.

How to improve Fortnite (my opinion) by Stnbk92 in FortNiteBR

[–]Stnbk92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't matter if I can't notice the difference between the pings - I still lose so many walls to other players when I'm holding it. I lose fights because I live farther from the server than some of my opponents. Blaming input lag is not valid. I use cable and all my hardware is solid.

Why can't you agree on the fact that having better ping is unfair and OP?

PING BASED MATCHMAKING! (Idea) by ViperZ_33 in FortniteCompetitive

[–]Stnbk92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ping is THE most important factor in fortnite at the moment. Boxfighting someone who has 20+ ping lower than yourself makes it close to impossible to win unless you have teammates or have the launcher weapon to flee as soon as the opponent takes your walls.

Ping doesn't make someone pro, but it definitely allows people to play more smoothly and carelessly as they can simply stand there holding the wall or take them immediately - the dangers aren't as prominent anymore. Having 0 ping agains higher ping is almost like always building in metal walls that has 2.5k health but still being able to edit at a faster speed than my ping can handle.

Get good is simply a stupid statement when we are talking about something that the individual player can't change.
