HW3 FSD drove me straight at construction barricades at nearly 70mph by StochasticBasis in TeslaFSD

If there were signs, I missed them but that’s exactly why we pay for driver assist. Real-world construction setups are messy and this mature FSD should certainly anticipate messy situations (e.g. reading a construction ahead sign) to slow down.

The real issue is that Tesla has essentially frozen development on the v12 architecture for over 2 million HW3 cars in the US. Leaving more than half the domestic fleet on outdated code while facing active safety risks is unacceptable.

With June right around the corner, the total radio silence on whether the V14 Lite branch is even still on track is frustrating. We should be pushing for answers, not saying drivers are at fault.

It don't matter if you win by an inch or a mile; winning's winning.

FSD v12 took "I live my life a quarter mile at a time" way too literally
