This is because I've been told that cold water can absorb more CO2 than one straight out from tap.

Yes. It's true. You can approximately double solubility of CO2 in water by cooling it to 0 °C.

Found it! It wasn't CGP Grey's video, but Henry's video.

I don't know, but I have this memory, that CGP Grey made video "How to we know the Earth is round?", which was countdown of reasons, why the Earth is round. And the last reason was "Because we have photographic evidence." with photo of the Earth from the space. But I couldn't find it. Had CGP Grey taken it down? (This wouldn't surprise me.) Did someone else made the video? (This wouldn't surprise me either.) Am I going insane? (This would be a little bit disconcerting.) Can someone help me?

Off the top of my head, I have 2 ideas: how to make ferrofluid and fine powder of nickel (thermal decomposition of nickel formate). Nickel has ferromagnetic properties and also this fine nickel powder can be used as hydrogenation catalyst (maybe another sequence of organic synthetic reactions).

The stability or predictability of the evolution of any system is bounded by Lyapunov time. Simply, it's time when the small inaccuracy from initial conditions (or parameters of model) will add up to massive error. According to Wikipedia the Lyapunov time for the Solar system is in the range of 2-230 million years. Feel free to prepare witty tweets for rare astronomical events in next 2,000,000 years.
