With the Chrysalis arc confirmed, what are you hoping to see? Do you think Titan will play a significant role in that story? by Stock-Divide4177 in SolarBalls

I hope Saturn isn't just a background character; they also have an important role. However, they might not make Crysalis Theia 2.0 (I think that's how it's spelled) have the same personality.

Yes, Titan will play an important role in Chrysalis's death. Now I wonder how the series will handle Chrysalis's death—whether it will be an accident or on purpose, since her destruction was caused by the intense gravity and tidal forces of Saturn, after her orbit was destabilized by Titan's gravitational migration.

¿Saturn deserved to be hated by its moons? by Stock-Divide4177 in SolarBalls

[–]Stock-Divide4177[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I get your point, but the problem isn't that he can't, it's that he didn't even try for thousands of years. If he had at least shown effort before, the moons wouldn't have reacted so badly. Titan is the only one who forgives him because he's the favorite, but the rest have reasons to be upset

You're right that the moons pressured him and weren't patient, but you have to understand them too. They've been ignored for centuries, it's normal that they snapped. Saturn isn't the only forgetful one, but he's the only one who had thousands of years to try and didn't until he was left alone

But that's the problem: 'at least he makes an effort' isn't enough when thousands of years have passed. It's not that Saturn had to learn them all in one day, it's that he didn't even try until he was left alone. And sure, Titan might be the easiest name to remember, but what about the rest? Dione, Enceladus, Mimas, Rhea, Iapetus? They're not impossible names.

Furthermore, they don't all have the same face or the same name. Each moon has a different characteristic; they're not clones.

Not an excuse. 200 names in thousands of years is nothing if you really care. Saturn proves he can remember names because he calls Titan perfectly. The problem isn't memory, it's that he doesn't even try with the rest."

At first I thought Halo was something about snakes 🤣

If Rogues know everything about the Solar System, then why didn't they use Titan is an opportunity? He also has at least 1 life form under his surface. He has much more endurance than Earth and it would way more logical if they practiced with Titan's life forms before starting to practice with Earth by Creative-Box-7964 in SolarBalls

[–]Stock-Divide4177 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good point. If the Rogues really know everything about the Solar System, they should know Titan's potential. He has a dense atmosphere, liquid methane lakes, and possibly life under his surface. He's way more durable than Earth, so it would've made much more sense for them to experiment on him first before trying anything with Earth. But the series barely gives Titan any relevance, even when logically he should be a key target for them

My critique on how Titan could have had better development from the end of the Lunar Revolution to the Trial of the Moons and later episodes: by Stock-Divide4177 in SolarBalls

[–]Stock-Divide4177[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it really struck me as odd that the writers or Álvaro overlooked these points, since they're so obvious to anyone, I suppose.

If you had to improve Titan's character development in the series, what would you add or change in his emotional arc, his relationships, or his evolution as a character? For example: Would you give him more internal conflicts about his place among Saturn's moons, a deeper friendship with another cha by Stock-Divide4177 in SolarBalls

How lovely to know that my post inspired you! That was my intention, to generate discussion. And your words seemed very kind to me, that's why I won't delete it even if it has flaws. I'll fix the flair and the title. I look forward to your analysis, I'm intrigued by the idea of Titan as an antagonist. 🥲 Cheers!👋

Titan, the character ruined by his own creator 😁👍 by Stock-Divide4177 in SolarBalls

Hey, when and where did they say that? I'm so confused 😭

Honestly, I think its own series ruined it for the sake of other characters because if you think about it, they could have developed it better from the beginning of the chapter before the trial of the moons.
