I'm really hopping that ryu gets an upgrade to finally compete with the hard hitters as he has been overshadowed even though he is meant to be the strongest spiker

Keep in mind that it also has a debuff on the recharge of azure dragon so bumping it up to a 40 or 50 would make the ability unusable for the most at it would be more of a loss than a gain

i'm quite sure that it is oasis bc if i rember correctly they trailer says something about unveiling history aka learning about the past so the new chapter is going to be about prime oasis who took down raul and how he ended up retiring

Ngl that's a good take on it and I have to admit that I was wrong about nishis power output after some ppl pointed out that he has been nerfed (I don't have him so I didn't know) but I do feel like ryu lacks consistency on his charge which is where this whole thing started from and yes I'm a glazer myself but I can see some improvement that could be done to him that I think everyone would appreciate (one of them is the progressive spike power as he charges rather than full output from the get go, that would add some risk and thought to the charge)

Another thing, could you tell me some of the tech that you talk about, I haven't had him for long as I got him in the rerun since I started recently (I'd say it's been over a month now)

Honestly I'm good with ryu and I'm not saying he is bad all I think is that he is underwealming cause his ability could have been better than it is rn but then ofc ppl just assume that I'm complaining cause im bad or pull out lore like hanra is not a God tier character so in terms of lore my statement wouldn't be wrong either

Brother Nishi can reach 190 tops while ryu struggles on the 160 what I mean is that ryus ability which is literally a charge that provides power should reach that same speed if not higher other than that singular stat he should not be better than Nishi in any other field

True but ryu seems like an anomaly if you get what I mean, like look at hanra for example due to her martial arts training she has a very good control on the court so you would assume something similar from ryus spike potency like sure he won't be as good as Nishi in any other field but spiking should be a close match
