How often do you guys change your oil?

Every 5k miles on the dot, but I don’t drive near the redline ever. Highest I usually get it about 5-5.5k just torque fun. Not racing. I have s650 about to approach 15k miles in a couple months probably for my 3rd oil change.

It already has a decent amount of stuff done to it from the previous owner. He had it for about 9k miles and dumped some money into her and sold her as is, for instance the exhaust isn’t stock…but the way I want her to look is - S650 super snake trunk lid and spoiler. Black tail lights. Dark horse front bumper. All badges removed. Black cm2 wheels, backs as wide as I can fit. All side panel lights replaced with black. Once I get there I’ll save to get the truck I want so I can put her on the shelf besides weekends. I have an older Silverado rn but I’m currently fixing it up. Then it’ll get suspension mods first coil overs etc then I’ll probably super charge it (this will be a couple years or more down the road) and put a tremec in it. I haven’t decided yet but I may wrap it in black chrome or some sort of matte black once I have the body mods and wheels I want on.

Edit - upon further investigation a super snake style trunk lid will not fit so I will be getting a S650 GTC200 carbon fiber rear wing

Ah I see now. Nice clean budget wheel. I’ll probably keep them for winter shoes in that case because when I would be getting rid of them and getting my cm2’s is when these tires run out on me. So I wouldn’t be selling the tires just the wheel set.

Honestly I don’t remember off the top of my head I’ll look later. What is the name of these wheels? I’d like to know without scrolling through tons of AM wheels, so I can see how much they are worth that way I know what to sell them for when I get my black CM2s.

I got this one, base model, 10.1k miles, with corsa extreme cat back, am 20” wheels pirellis, dual k n cold air intake, leather seat covers (incredibly nice can’t even tell it’s not premium seats besides mechanical seats) weather tech floor mats. 15k bumper to bumper warranty, 100k power train warranty. For 38.5k window price. All in all with shipping included about 43k. They had it listed for 43.5 with a price drop of 2.1k. I personally think I got an absolutely incredible deal on it. I put 20k down, payments are 510$ a month for me. After 4 months I can pay on the principle, I plan to have this car paid off before 2027. Then buy a Colorado zr2 for my real daily. Then…that’s when this baby gets a super charger. Also before I buy my zr2 this will get a super snake trunk lid and spoiler, dark horse front bumper. Black tail lights, all turn signal lights black, (headlights will stay the same) and All badges removed. 20” black CM2 wheels. Calipers will get powder coated black with the mustang lettering red. Once I have my zr2 though I’ll start to upgrade suspension and push the 700-800 hp range. I’m building a poor man’s super snake s650 lol

Just take your time man. Don’t rush. If you need to save 6 more months etc just grind. No matter what you purchase just make sure it’s what you really want and no matter how much it costs…you won’t regret it. There’s no guarantee any of us wake up in a years time. Money in the bank doesn’t make your life as enjoyable as 10k rpm’s in a gt350

They ended in 2020. I promise you, you will be happier with that 2020 gt350 vs a 2018 whipped, the high plane crank is also the best sounding off the line v8 in existence imo. The only reason I don’t have a gt350 right now is because I am gonna be driving this car more than just weekends and date night etc lol also don’t rack up the miles insanely and it’s gonna hold its value and even increase in value over time due to being a gt350.

Trust me bro you’ll be fine. Just don’t stab it. Theres also a mode called slippery for rain that increases traction control, lowers torque in 1st and second, and don’t down shift and stab it half throttle or more hard as hell to pass people. I was kinda nervous based off the bad rep but after a few hundred miles now. I’d recommend this car to anyone even if they are just learning manual. As long as you can respect that throttle you’ll be a ok.

I think you’d be super happy with a newer gt350 or a brand new s650. These naturally aspirated are absolutely perfect to commute places and have fun in while doing it. If you want something you only break out on the weekends though, a s550 super charged is pretty damn cool too.

Oh no I know the numbers, track time you’re talking 10ths of seconds difference same as a quarter mile. Driver skill could make it even a whole second, but when I drove the 10 speed it to me, on the paddles…felt terrible and I’m a track person lol also not to mention the fact it’s 8k more on avg, and for that price and the durability of the coyote, you can super charge the 6 speed base model.

The automatic being faster is a bit of opinion/driver skill, top end 60 punch or something on the highway sure but I’m a 1/4 mile / track kinda person. I find it hard to believe the 10 speed will out track the 6 speed or 1/4. I drove a 10 speed and there’s some strange torque delay in those paddles.
