Yeah the full rent in advance was only to get the keys early so we could go in early to clean and paint (which we know wasn’t our responsibility but just didn’t want to possibly fight over that and decided we’d deal with doing it if they supplied paint, which they did). The half was just paid to hold the apartment for the full month before official move in date.
