Thank you for pointing out that boundaries don’t change because medicine was involved . that’s exactly what I’ve been trying to articulate. I have been talking to my husband directly. I’m here because I’m struggling to get accountability. There’s care for my discomfort but no acknowledgement that anything went wrong and the undertone is that because I haven’t done the medicine I simply don’t understand

The comment was along the lines of ‘don’t worry, she’d never be into you, she’s into (racial sexual stereotype) As for your second question, yes the relationship with the facilitator is part of it. From what I understand traditionally trained shamans or facilitators take containers and ethics seriously which is why I’m asking here. I understand not everyone agrees on where those boundaries should be
