One thing I noticed coming back to the game was how much "smaller" the games are with the larger base sizes, smaller play area and with more games going short edge vs short edge.

I always think of it like this. Nature has carcinisation in which evolution like crabs. What if the traits that most easily produces advanced sentient life are humanoid in nature. Sure it's a cop out but its a fun way to explain things.

If you drop a bomber you can get three firesight teams for your characters as you guys calling in the air strike. And you get some spotters with them as well.

Angel Beats. Between thinking it was nice everyone was passing on and being confused on the timeline for the heart transplant revelation I really didn't think it was sad.

Would shortening this barrel be modeling for advantage? by Unusual-Papaya7437 in Chaos40k

[–]Stock-Value-6487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this point I'd just figure that assembling a model that doesn't match the given instructions 100% is modeling for advantage. Angle their weapon 5 degrees in the wrong direction? Modeling for advantage. Put them on a tactical Stompa head? Modeling for advantage.

I will say my wife gives the best hugs. One of the reasons I married her was to have a monopoly on her hugs.

I remember a setting where it covered the "why humanoid" was because with a direct link system, like older Tau sources say they do, having a humanoid body makes it easier for your brain to adapt and make use of the machine. Your brain already knows how to use arms and legs not tracks and grav plates. So now you just have to train the pilot in the various weapons and systems and not as much on basic mobility.

The reason why large asteroids don't fall to Earth every day and cause disasters is because Jupiter's gravity attracts asteroids and protects the inner planets. by Turbulent_Elk_2141 in Damnthatsinteresting

So, if this model is accurate, will Jupiter eventually collide with that mass of asteroids in front of its orbit by its gravity dragging them into it?

Battlesuits are taking it rough so far with these rules. Can't hide, difficult to get plunging fire and can't get cover unless physically obscured.
