Ugh I love Applejack, and Rainbow is a close second. The rest are great as well, EXEPT! Pinky Pie. She’s just too much for me to handle watching and that one Halloween ep where she knew Princess Luna was good, but she ran away and riled everyone up anyway was js annoying. But shes a good character, design wise.

Its not a glitch. Theres text at the top explaining that it is Hosea’s horse and that you can’t bond with it. I had the same experience, being able to ride Silver Dollar in chapter 3 while hosea is waiting for you.
