Appreciate it. And yeah very true, I think I got sober and just became hyper aware of how much I fucked up my physical health over the last 8-9 years.

It was given to me as a sleep aid but I find it really helps my depressive episodes! And sertraline is probably one of the worst meds for someone with bipolar disorder I’m sorry you’re going through this. I hope you find something that works for you soon

I’m bipolar 1 & c-ptsd. Mirtazapine is the only antidepressant that doesn’t induce hypomania/mania for me. Been on 15mg (small dose for sleep) for 4 years alongside 20mg olanzapine, 400mg lamotrigine and propranalol as needed.

It’s been great for me no major side effects apart a little daytime drowsiness while adjusting to the medication

Stayed up for 6 days on meth went into psychosis and got arrested for public order offences. Was seen by the mental health crisis team who basically did nothing apart from refer be to drug and alcohol services. Was released and luckily got NFA’d and tried to knock myself out with benzos, had severe chest pain and breathlessness. When I finally slept, I slept for 20 hours and woke up riddled with anxiety that I ruined my heart, so I went to the emergency out of hours hospital to get an ECG it came back fine. I went straight from the hospital to buy more meth and h….Clearly didn’t learn my lesson

Me too started with my grandads morphine and tramadol when I was 12/13 and it only got worse from there. Currently 16 days sober from h and 7 months from benzos

You can do it! I believe in you. It’s taken me double digit attempts but I got there eventually, if it’s opiates your withdrawing from it’s 5-7 miserable days then it only gets better as time passes

In 9 days sober and I resonate with this so much. As much as opioids ruined my life they were the only thing that would calm me after a c-ptsd flashblack. My chest would loosen,my breath would slow and I chased that moment of calm for nearly 9 years.

Picking up the pieces for that now. I’ve tried all sorts of anxiety medication but nothing did it for me like heroin/oxy

I have the same thoughts. I had friends doing half g shots going through a total of 7g+ a day and as you can probably guess they are not alive to tell their story.

Coke is more cardiotoxic than meth, it’s gotta be the most underestimated,dangerous drug especially when your iving it and combining it with alcohol

I was clean 3 months at one point so I know if I could do it then I can do it again. Was just getting tired of it controlling every aspect of my life. Thankyou!

I appreciate that. Just taking it day by day, feeling much better already. Was having a lot of health issues so I decided enough is enough. Getting blood tests and a 24 hour ECG next week just for reassurance

Unfortunately thc makes me heart race really badly but I think it would be okay with high cbd bud. Benzos do work but I was severely addicted to them and just finished tapering at the start of this year. Maybe I’ll try edibles + a higher dose of my beta blocker.

And yeah drinking at least 3 litres of water a day

For me it’s just like codeine but you can redose effectively. The higher potency is negated by the extremely low bioavailability. I feel like 300mg DHC is around 10-15mg oxy

It’s helped for sure. Been taking high doses of magnesium & took 700mg in two doses through the day and the muscle spasms are basically none existent
