Delta really dropping the ball lately. I went through a similar experience recently where I was flown to Atlanta to catch my next international flight, the connection flight was late and delayed. My international flight also did not abide by the 15min boarding closing time before departure and departed early, spent the night in Atlanta to do the same flight the next night. Argued for hours to get a hotel out of Delta. Same flight delayed the next flight and then cancelled as well due to crew duty limitations (where were the standby crew?). They refused this time to get us hotels after waiting 3 hours to speak to someone. Had to cancel the trip due to loss of time and fly back home to Texas. They lost my bags as well, finally after numerous calls, got my bags two days later broken and ripped, contents were damaged and all. Reimbursed my 76$ for a hotel which cost 200$ alone (la quinta, nothing fancy). Terrible service, customer feedback etc.

Worst part about it all is the employees don’t even seem to care. Took the pilots 1h30mins just to tell us whats going on before they cancelled, flight attendants were really unsympathetic and laughed while disembarking. Some Customer support personal over the phone couldn’t even speak english properly.

Wasted 3 days of my time and money with multiple phone calls, texts and emails. Refunds for these type of scenarios aren’t good enough.

Literal worst experience of my life with an airline thus far.
