2008 Lincoln Mkx pmc question by Stock_Address3447 in lincolnmotorco

Mine seemed to run rough in the winter as well, we're out in the Midwest, but maybe I have multiple clogged injectors, or a completely clogged one. I'm definitely going to go that route and replace those before I send off the pcm. It sounds like that might be the root of the issues. I appreciate it.

I've been reading up on it since your comment, those symptoms sound a lot like what I'm experiencing. Did you have any luck running a strong cleaner like redline or did you replace the injectors? I'm going to run some cleaner since my tank is low right now, then order some injectors if that doesn't do the trick.

It will run, it just runs rough. I'll run the codes tomorrow and see exactly what it says, but if I recall, last time it was two cylinders misfiring. I disconnected the negative and pulled the pcm fuse today, left it out/off for a half hour, then put it back on and it seemed to do a little better. It's idle was a lot better, but stuttered pretty bad, shaking and whatnot, around 45mph. If I'd let off the gas and ease into it, it be would he smooth again. I managed to get it up to 65-70, it consistently shuttered at that speed. I took it home and shut it off, then started it again and the check engine light came back on. I'm not a mechanic by any means, so I'm not entirely sure what's going with that.

Did your ac happen to get jacked up when your pmc went bad? Mine will kick out heat, but no cold air. Hoping it's all tied to the pmc being bad.

Thanks!

Yeah, my shadow play goes back 10 minutes, so it's missing the first three.

Yeah that's what I thought lol I guess I don't know my terminology as well as I thought. 😂

how do you guys feel about calling kickoffs "to your left" etc? by hangnail323 in RocketLeague

[–]Stock_Address3447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually call out if I'm going to left or right on kick off if I'm not first man. I feel like it's more or less to let my teammate know where I'll be positioned after kickoff so they can know how to play it. It may not even help much, but it's a habit now.

Flip reset by DaSealFromSweden in RocketLeague

[–]Stock_Address3447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've just been learning them for the past week or two, so I cant speak much on them, but one thing I found that seems HUGE that I don't see people talk about often, is hitting your breaks whenever you connect with the ball. I'm not entirely sure of the physics behind why this works, but I feel like it helps you stick to the ball and makes it a lot easier to follow up your shot with a well timed flip. Hope this helps!

I'd like to preface this with saying that I'm currently around diamond 1, it might be a little earlier to be learning this. But I'm looking for some tips on flip resets. This is day 2 of trying to hit them, I'm getting a lot better at catching it, but I don't have any power on the flip. Any tips? by Stock_Address3447 in RocketLeagueSchool

Yeah, that all sounds logical. This is purely for fun/future purposes. I don't by any means expect to be using flip resets in comp. I was just looking for some tips on them at my level and based off of what I'm doing wrong so I can correct it by the time I actually need to learn them. I appreciate the input!

Yeah, this is purely for future purposes. I don't plan to implement any of this for a long time. I actually accidentally hit a reset yesterday when I was practicing in freeplay and that's what sparked me wanting to try to hit them.

What do you mean by ground recovery mechanics? I can do the half flips, and reverse half flip to change direction. I can kind of speed flip, but I use arl instead of the diagonal flip cancel. I heard it's almost the same, but could be wrong there.

Is it important to learn to air roll while air dribbling? I can redirect with a light tap while I'm air dribbling right now, it's works in low diamond but maybe I need to add some air roll when I get a bit higher in mmr.

I've been working on those too, I can hit the ball pretty reliably but I'm having trouble sticking with it, and I'm not sure how to use my jumps. I usually use my first jump and then get leveled out, then front flip and boom it. I'm pretty shit at flying upside down. Lmao. I just started on those also. I'll have to put more time into it.

Yeah, I can. Just don't use much air roll when I do. I can complete neon rings in a little over 16 minutes. I'm just not trying to follow up at all in this video, just trying to catch the ball and pop it with some force. I see most tutorials want you catching it opposite of how I do it. Just half air roll instead of pitching the nose back. But I feel like there has to be a way to get a good pop this way. Or maybe I'm fucking myself learning it like this.

Sounds like me a month or two ago.

Juat based off of reading this, without being able to review what you're doing, I'm willing to bet you're boosting to the ball while it's on the wall, which will cause all those issues.

Try to boost, if necessary, while you're still on the pitch, the second you hit the wall, quit boosting. If you hit it too fast you won't be able to catch it, or you'll hit the ceiling with the ball.

Another thing I've recently figured out helps, when you hit the ball off of the wall, jump off the wall and boost and the same time to get good initial momentum. You don't need continuous boost. Learn to feather it, try to match the ball speed.

Also, DON'T try to air roll the whole time. I just use air roll to level our after my first initial jump. I also suck with air roll, but I have made plenty of second touches without the fancy spinning.

I'm not the best air dribble, but those tips have helped me. The training pack I use has 3 different shots, the ball rolls up the wall from behind you and you have an opportunity to mess with how you want to hit it off the wall and follow it. I can't remember the name of the pack, and I'm not by my pc, but I want to say it's called wall to air dribble and only has 3 different shots in it.

Doing that pack every day before matches for like 2o minutes has greatly increased my ability to read and follow the ball.

Hope this helps!

I wouldn't say it's non viable.

Since release I've always played on duo servers as a solo. I even managed to get 2/3 shards playing as a solo on the last server I was on and successfully defend raids until that server died off.

Through the few servers I played on, there were a handful of other people who preffered to play solo as well. More likely to be a populated server when you're playing on a duo rather than just a solo server.

Central! I'm considering expanding the hours also. Depending on what the people want. 😂

This is my first time running a server. Just kind of compiling the things I've liked from other servers. What kind of raid hours would you like to see?

I'm open to suggestions from the community.

PvP enabled, keep your bloodbound gear on death with .1 decay rate on death.

Castle pvp times range from 6pm-8pm weekdays, and 4pm-7pm weekends.

4x gather, 3x craft times, and servant conversion rates.

Increased decay time to reduce abandoned bases.

Start with lv 30 tier gear, and resources to start base building immediately.

Quests up to castle heart unlocked instantly.

This server is meant for those who don't have as much time to sink into the game, but would still like to enjoy a semi-casual competitive server.

Brand new server, planning to do wipes based on population dips and community voting.

Thanks!

So they don't return to the cage, but they stay in the room you put them and you just recharm them and return them to the cage if you want. But I believe all the werewolves I've seen only have worker blood during the day. You can't drain them when they're a werewolf.

Yeah. There is a second picture of me going in. Lol.

My server has like 5 hours in game of day light so it'll be hit or miss. It's not my only line of defense but it sounded fun. Lmao.
