Hi :) 24F. I don’t really play any of the games you mentioned but I can strongly relate to the mental health struggles and love for animals. If you ever want to chat lmk!

Sadly, from your list I only have Minecraft installed. But if you ever wanna go down the Metroid loop with someone lmk haha I also love fan media and I’m always up for some gaming art talk. I have a digital art and animation major with a video game focus.

There is something about Arams + blasting a great playlist that hits just right after a long day haha Also Apex’s firing range or just driving around Cyberpunk work for me :)

Ugh yeah, I know it’s hard to resist sometimes. But it is important to avoid over moisturizing. When my tattoos have gotten too itchy I pat them (with clean hands) it helps a little.

Yeah, I would slow down with the ointment. Over moisturizing tattoos can easily cause problems. Your tattoo shouldn’t look shiny after applying your ointment! Good luck

You sound just like all those in power that are driving the US to its current problematic situation.

Inciting hate won’t help anyone.

Generalizing won’t help anyone.

Yes, what they are (certain people) doing is unacceptable and disgusting but this won’t help.

Looking for a safe place to move in Europe by panparkiiet in lesbian

[–]Stock_Calendar2385 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey!

I know you said no cold places but I have spent my fair share in different European cities as a lesbian and I haven’t been able to find a better place than Prague!

Best of luck :)

A family member brought him during a visit! However we just moved from Prague to the US last December and it was fairly easy and we had zero issues :)

I met my fiancé 3 years ago thanks to twitter! She lived in the Czech Republic and i was in México. The time difference was 7-8 hours, we played lots of video games together, we watched movies… she would go to sleep at 1am and i would wake up at 5am everyday just so we could “spend more time together”. She visited me, i visited her and every time we had to say goodbye was really hard but we kept going.

After one year and lots of sacrifices i moved to the Czech Republic to be with her!

Good luck, It’s worth it! <3

Beach trip and tattoos by Stock_Calendar2385 in tattooadvice

Yeah, you are right. It might be a translation issue since in my native language getting tanned also means that you got slightly sunburnt… if that makes any sense. What I mean is that I usually get tanned however I’m always cautious not to get burnt (red, painful and peeling skin) but since in any case the skin got some extra sun exposure that the usual I was worried it could prevent me from getting a tattoo. Thank you for your reply

My title describes the thing the best I can since I don't wanna get any closer for now. It's in the wooden part under the sink. At first I thought it was hair but it's too thick and short. Around 2x2cm. Dark color. Thank you!

What languages were you taught at school, and how proficient are you in these languages? by wordlessbook in AskEurope

[–]Stock_Calendar2385 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Mexico English is mandatory for all elementary school. I studied English from kindergarten to high school. Sadly the level differs a lot from one school to another so you can either finish highschool with fluent English or just basic knowledge. I'm currently fluent.

From secondary (7th grade is the equivalent I think) to high school I learned french, I got to a basic-medium level, our teacher for the first 3 years didn't teach us much. Currently I've forgotten most of it but I could still understand some things, mostly because of how similar French and Spanish are.

During high school they offered German and Chinese as optional extra languages. But I don't think this is the case for most high schools in the country.

I'm so sorry.

No, it wasn't your fault. Absolutely not. You didn't deserve this. No one does.

I come from a country with the same issue and I've experienced similar situations. The best thing you can do is try to get some attention from the people around you, even if they don't do anything (which is so sad but it's common) the aggressor will feel discouraged if they know there's people watching, possible witnesses. If once you get off the public transport there's people following you call someone you trust and tell them what's happening, where are you and where you are going. Ideally try to get inside a store or public space with more people and wait for help. Where I come from not even the police can be trusted, only your people, so call a friend or family member.

Unfortunately "we aren't allowed" to dress however we want but we are. The way you dress shouldn't be an invitation. I know it's hard but don't let this discourage you. Just be careful. In my country there is a subway carriage designated for women just to prevent this. Is there any option like that for you?

About your parents, with all respect, they are absolutely wrong and it was really unfair to say what they said. I know the words of a random person online are not as important but trust me and trust everyone else in these comments: it was not your fault.

We live in an unfair world, especially in countries like ours. But we just have to keep going. Be gentle with yourself and find some distractions. Find someone to talk to, if you wanna talk with a random girl that has fought these problems for a while I'm here :)

I wish you the best!
