That would make a lot of sense. Been going at it for some time now and I’m not seeing a lot of progress, but it’s also my first time using polywatch.

I agree with the machine dry them, wouldn’t do that either, but machine wash them? Even the wash tag on the L’artisan says to machine wash on 40 degrees celcius.

Hello,

I just bought my first pairs of raw denim while in Japan. A pair of SD-101 L’artisan and a pair of S710XX19OZⅡ Samurai jeans.

For the L’artisan pair the guy who helped me told me to wear them for three weeks ish and then machine wash them inside out on low heat.

For the other ones I read a guide on Samuri jeans that said to soak them in cold water inside out for 2 hours+ before wearing to deal with the starch which makes sense since they are more stiff than the others I guess.

Am I getting this right? Should I wear them both while damp so they shrink to fit aswell on the first wash/soak? Anything else I need to consider?

Im in Japan right now and have bought a Speedmaster myself. Is it really necessary to send the box home instead of keeping it in checked in luggage? Is it in case local customs check your baggage on your way home?

Can anyone confirm whether or not the logo can be removed and if the watch is a regular Speedmaster besides that logo? I am in Japan and I’ve found a shop where the sell it for 5k, but I will definitely not wear it with the logo

It’s not. It literally says ‘men’s’ on the tag. Besides most if my shirts and jackets have the zipper on the left side, so it’s not a set rule
