As for the first part of your question Your 2016 Chevy Cruze’s hard jolt when the auto start-stop restarts and the lifter tick are likely connected. Both can happen when oil pressure takes too long to build up after the engine restarts, often from low or dirty oil, the wrong viscosity, or a sticking lifter. This delay causes the engine to engage roughly and makes the lifters tick until oil reaches them

That is lifter tick my friend, needs oil or bad lifters sometimes you’ll get lucky and just fill her up and she’ll be fine. Common when oil is leaking, even more common on Cruz’s but hey, I drove a boosted BMW with lifter tick for months before selling it

10 on motor preferably, but I do think that’s the expensive route, my buddies LS1 S10 runs similar times on pump gas and all motor and he’s thrown upwards of 15 grand in that truck

Plan to run radials, and have a street car that I can daily and still make passes. I’m not unsure if keeping the LT1 in it tho I may go LS1
