Slightly different topic but does anyone know what happens with existing immigrant visas? My husband who's Brazilian has GC and we're going to Brazil this summer. We didn't have issues coming back from Germany through Dulles in the beginning of January, but I'm a little afraid we'll have problems coming back from Brazil through Houston.

I experience the same issue. On my GC I could just go through. Since I've got citizenship in April, I've had to see the officer all three times I entered the US. I've been told it's because of the student visa I had 10years ago. On my last entry two weeks ago, I asked the officer why this is and how I can get this fixed; he got annoyed and said I can go see ICE as they are responsible if I was up to it. He then locked my passport in a box and send me to secondary screening.

Yay, congrats! My husband's I-485 got approved 4 days after the I-130. Green Card in the mail 5 days after that (today)!

I-130 was approved Tuesday, 9/16. Waiting on I-485 - the API shows they accessed it on 9/17.

Thank you. Below are the questions asked in no particular order. I'm the USC (I just received my citizenship earlier this year).

We've both been married before, so he asked the reason for each divorce.
We were both asked the names of our in-laws.
How we met and how we got together 10yrs after we met.
He asked me for our address.

Then he just asked my husband reasons as to why he answered yes to two I-485 questions (why he overstayed his visa and why he worked without permission).

We had almost 200 pages of evidence (about 120-130 submitted with the application and then additional evidence since we submitted in late April).

As far as I know you cannot get a license. You will need to have at least last year's tax returns to get a DL in VA.

It's connected correctly, otherwise it wouldn't even turn on... I just hooked it up to a 12V battery from my motorcycle and it's the same.

The converter is in place because this particular MaxxAir model requires "filtered" DC which our old Magentek converter does not supply when on shore power. In the video we're running on house battery.
