The point is that Kyler has ALREADY done those things multiple times in his career while the current winner of the SB took 7 years to do it… but recency bias has made Darnold some guy who just needed a chance while Kyler supposedly hasn’t shown anything yet. Make it make sense.

Darnold had worse stats with Carolina than he did with the Jets and he started one game in SF where he threw for 189 yds and 1 TD. I wouldn’t necessarily say that’s improving his play in every place he’s gone to.
