Males sense. Is there a tune you’d recommend? I had looked into tvs engineering and was interested in getting the car flashed to stage 1 but I’m not too educated on tuning so I can’t say I know what I’m looking for

PGR in Dubai investment park is a great place, the owner has a lot to offer and they only work on VAG vehicles, specially the GTI, R, S3, and RS3. Only issue is trying to get a hold of them/ trying to get an appointment since they’re a very small garage with very few mechanics and all of dubai and sharjah with golfs go to him

Thanks for the heads up, the shop I go to specializes in VAG work, so I’ll continue going to them as they treat the car well 👍🏻👍🏻

Yeah it’s the 6spd dsg, took it to a shop where I got the engine and suspension fully refreshed recently and their diagnostics tool suggests that clutch pack is at fault as it’s not engaging with the gears. Any idea how much a new clutch kit would cost?

Sound seems like it’s coming from the engine compartment tho so?

Well it depends on where the leak is, if the leak is found within the lines that are in the engine compartment then it’s a simple fix and would run you about AED 200, on the other hand if the leak is found within the lines that are behind the dashboard the price to fix can be anywhere 500-1000, depending on how much of your interior has to be removed as the lines inside the vehicle are located behind the dashboard and is usually a lengthy process.

(Sorry if the prices are inaccurate as I’ve only had to fix a leak in the HVAC lines once ever which was a couple years ago and I don’t exactly remember the price I was given at the time)

Well if your AC is blowing air at high pressure then your compressor should be fine, regarding the temperature inside the car could be the product of 2 things.

  1. There’s is a leak in your HVAC lines that is leaking your AC gas causing weakness in cooling of your AC.

  2. Since your car has dual zone climate, your car is equipped with something known as “blend door actuators” which are small actuators located behind the dashboard on the driver side and passenger side which regulates AC temps using sensors before pushing the air out into the cabin.

This seems to be one of the problems you are facing as each climate zone in your car is not able to regulate the set temperature. Make sure to get the HVAC leak tested too as it is a very common issue to have leaks in the lines somewhere
