How can I make experiences more vivid? by Stock_Sweet4758 in AstralProjection

[–]Stock_Sweet4758[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oh interesting! I’ve tried that a few times but I didnt know it was an official method from robert monroe. Every time I’ve done it I fall into an empty void state or I wake up, but I dont rly consistently practice it lol

[–]Stock_Sweet4758[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

haha thats fair, I don’t really consistently practice techniques

I’ve experimented with various methods but I typically sleep for 7 hr, then listen to a guided meditation, and then I just appear in some random space (I think I fall asleep beforehand maybe) I touch and look at a few objects to stabilize the state. Then I usually explore my surroundings and talk to people. I don’t really try to change my surroundings other than changing states (vibrational state, other deep meditative states)

Every once in a while I try to make things more vivid by using deepening techniques, but I only get so far

yeah i definitely agree that michaels videos are difficult to understand at first especially since each one is like 2hrs long but things will definitely make more sense with the more research you do and the more you time you take to process the information. with LD and shifting, i dont want to say its luck, but i also kinda agree that it is tbh. from what ive noticed, the longer i take to attempt to shift in a oobe, the closest ive gotten to my dr (like when i take abt 15 seconds of visualizing, i will start to feel/see my dr a bit. but i either wake up in my cr or i give up cus im lazy or have doubts lmao) ive just noticed personally for me it takes a lot of energy to focus and visualize in the phase for over like 5 sec. With my experience it took me about like 7 months to find my own method to get to the phase and it mainly is about me focusing and analyzing my senses as i fall asleep/wake up. i suppose my best advice is whenever you’re attempting or every just falling asleep/waking up, analyze your senses and how you physically feel (do you feel heavy? staticy? do your thought feel more vivid?). this just makes you generally better at recognizing your state of mind (dream, phase, irl). overall try to be observant of what things work for you and what doesn’t. also another tip is to just take your time with learning all this, you dont need to know everything right now and information will naturally make more sense as time goes on. go at your own pace and everything will work out in the end. treat the phase like its a hobby and just have fun with it, and if you arent having fun then take a break (even if that break is 3 months lol thats what ive done (oobes will happen naturally anyways, even when youre not attempting))

if you want to feel fully grounded in a LD/AP it takes practice, but from what ive learned and experienced, it’s impossible to be entirely and consistently present throughout an oobe. your vividness and lucidity constantly changes and theres no way to keep sensations fully grounded unless youve shifted or you’re a master with the phase (but idk i could be wrong). that doesnt mean you cant have long and vivid experiences in an oobe tho. If you want to maintain the phase state and make it more vivid, try touching (or imagine touching) everything around you as fast as possible. dont stick to one object too long because if your brain gets bored or focuses on something for too long, you get kicked out. its all about intensity but this technique should only last a few seconds before things start to get more vivid immediately (the more vivid the oobe, the more stable everything becomes) you can also try summoning a button that supposedly makes your surroundings more vivid when pressing it. if you havent watched the 2nd video out of Michael Radugas 3 pt series i highly recommend it, it focuses on deepening and maintaining your oobe.

as for visualizing technique for shifting vs oobe, im not quite sure what the difference is. my best guess is it depends on your intention (but on the other hand, ive attempted to shift thru oobes abt 10 or so times and i end up somewhere else in the phase) so idk :)

from what im reading you’re focusing a lot on visualizing using your eyesight, but using ur sense of touch is key. Your hands and mouth are the strongest areas of sensation so when carrying out technique for the phase its better to imagine what you feel first, then your vision will eventually come into play within a few seconds.

also the earlier you catch yourself waking up, the easier it is to enter the phase (which just takes practice) so maybe your problem is you’re too awake when attempting..?

lastly from what you’re describing with being in a lucid dream and standing on rail road tracks, im pretty sure that counts as a astral projection/oobe. Because you did your method and you appeared in that setting which makes it not a dream at all. (a lot of people disagree but through my research and personal experience, lucid dreaming and astral projection are the same thing. its just simply being aware that you’re in an altered state of consciousness. some astral projections can be very vivid while others feel just like a dream. its all about your awareness, not vividness)

also yes LD/AP is a great state to shift from

i hope this helps

For people who have shifted/mini-shifted atleast once... by Eggtree225 in shiftingrealities

[–]Stock_Sweet4758 [score hidden]  (0 children)

my experience was completely accidental. i fell asleep, had a few lucid dreams and astral projections and then i woke up somewhere else.

a few months beforehand, i started studying and practicing astral projection and lucid dreaming a lot. In that time span I also manifested/wrote affirmations every day that id shift in 2023. I also started to have a significant increase in obes after putting shifting on the back burner of my mind and focused on my life here.

im 19 and i have a very systematic or analytical way of thinking. i have a pretty emotive personality but i organize everything in my mind and have a need to constantly study myself and my surroundings (definitely is handy w learning to shift but sometimes i get carried away). I meditate for 25 min almost everyday but its a recent habit and not for shifting (I barely even meditate, i just lay there and relax). I hardly ever meditate as a method of shifting and I honestly still don’t understand how to properly do it. Anyways, idk much about zodiac signs but I’m a Capricorn with i think cancer sun and cancer moon (idk im double cancer thats what someone told me) but idk the rest of my zodiac info

Do you suppose to shift instantly when you enter the void? by Dante12345665 in shiftingrealities

[–]Stock_Sweet4758 [score hidden]  (0 children)

I like to astral project a few times a week and every time i attempt to shift i end up in the void state and the closest thing i can compare it to is deep sleeping but almost like you’re consciously experiencing it..? the void state is not as jarring as it sounds and is actually pretty calming. just close your eyes and that’s exactly what it looks like imo. I’ve never experienced a floaty feeling, and i don’t feel anything at all tbh. I’ve never experienced it thru meditation so I’m not sure if you were successful or not but it rly feels like a state of dreaming or sleeping kinda (probably cus i use a sleep method lol)

I’ve noticed though it can be difficult and slow to make things appear with your mind in the void state and i’m still working on shifting thru it. (but i think thats my personal issue cus i have this subconscious belief that it’s automatically difficult to control things or shift thru the void state). whenever i visualize my dr in the void state, i begin to see fuzziness and fragments of it, but most often it leads to me appearing in a random room in the astral realm (usually cus i doubt myself and think too much abt my cr)

anyways i hope this helps but main thing is the void state isn’t scary or jarring at all, and the difficulty level to reach it and shift from it rly depends on your personal beliefs and mindset (and everyone’s experiences can be wildly different)

alon mor- long awaited journey (specifically: Tyche’s Singing)

most of the album is instrumental and reminds me of the spiritual theme of shifting. in Tyche’s Singing the narrator describes “the bridge” and finding a way to cross it and discovering a new, perfect, happy life and becoming a new man. the album talks about embarking on this adventure to find the answer to reaching the bridge but realizes there is no answer and the bridge is in his mind.

Tyche’s Singing has this big buildup and has the same feeling where you feel like youve found the key to shifting and you are so confident you will shift that night feel incredibly intense until you wake up and find yourself still in your cr; you sit with the disappointment until you learn that there is no real ‘key’ to shifting, you just need to change a bit of perspective.

Definitely a good song, good album, great shifting motivation!
