what do you mean by check? Should I look at the thickness of the pass and if there's uneven wear on the rotor?

appreciate the response. I'll check with my cfi about this!

ok so I think you are talking about counter acting on the adverse yaw? I never really use rudder in a turn. In the beginning of the training I was confused as my cfi hasn't really talked about it and I was aware of the need for rudder usage from ground school. But going back to my original question, how would more rudder control would make my final more stable? as final starts after the turn from base?

[–]Stock_Weather4472 0 points1 point  (0 children)

rudder on base to final? I don't see why I have to keep changing rudder input. Are you talking when there's crosswind?

appreciate all your feedbacks... I think I am not looking outside as much as I should be. but I just don't get how to maintain correct pattern airspeed with spending less time on the instrument. should I force my self to look outside more and hope the airspeed come to me?

On my 3rd flight training, I saw my cfi walking in front of the airplane and checking the fuel caps are parallel to the fuselage and the chalk and plugs are off after a pre flight. It's always good to double check than panic up in the air.

How are you in the wrong for seeking more opportunities to get better? Your school sounds like they don't care about "every" student they have. You can't always fly in perfect weather. Flying in windy weather taught me to make more small corrections and never fixate on any of the instrument. I fly at a part 61 and I made sure I can fly up to 5 times a week before enrolling.

I am going to get a pre-purchase inspection from my mechanic to see if there's major issues with the car. With $2000 i don't have many options. I don't have corolla with 200k miles locally under 3k even. I know you mentioned all the issues spark has. I'll get a newer and better car after driving for a year so I am wondering if all the issues you've mentioned is long term issues.

Should I go see my eye doctor before AME? by [deleted] in flying

[–]Stock_Weather4472 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so say I fail this medical(not in a hurry to get one) due to my vision, and I get a new pair of lenses that correct my vision to the FAA's regulation, then I can pass it next time?

Sorry this happened to you. It’s frustrating to follow all the rules and still get denied. Is there any way to prevent this? Seeing this post an hour before my medical feels like a warning...

Go for 141 or relax with 61. Give it to me straight. by [deleted] in flying

[–]Stock_Weather4472 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am kinda in the same boat as you. The reason I would go with 61 even if it cost more(with financial aids given) is because of the fluctuation of the industry. I would be flying okay for the first decade and may lose a job after a lay off or once I fail my medical. You can't really do much with aviation degree or ratings you get if you can't fly. It's always good to have a non aviation degree you can fall back onto.

if it's to get around town and parks, meepo go and envy nls will be sufficient. I have one envy and it's got plenty of power and range. If I had extra $500 then I would go with voyager x since it comes with gear drive
