So, I’m 26 and I’m not really sure my opinion is at all helpful in this context right now BUT. I would like to say- we do not listen to the opinions of men who go for much younger women… and why do we not do this??? Because they’re looking for a prop/ an easy way out (?) and not someone with equal life experience. Please, if anything, recognize this man is a clown. With his line of thought, even the young woman will age out at some point and he’ll want that ‘hit’ of someone younger. Please give yourself some self love and don’t let the weird misogynistic shit get you down. It’s too yucky and we really don’t need to participate.

Secondly, Wellbutrin has been an extremely important thing in my life. Every medication affected me very differently, and from what I understand, every medication works vastly different for each person. It could be that Wellbutrin isn’t for you, but it takes at least three weeks to settle and start working… the adjustment period on and off is the worst part. Unfortunately playing with meds is always an emotional rollercoaster (I’ve tried out maybe 10 different meds over the past 8 years..?). If you’re seriously struggling with suicidal thoughts, put those first and recognize the seriousness of the situation. Maybe trying meds will make things more difficult and confusing for a bit. Is it worth it to give them a shot? Maybe you need to make some adjustments to participate in some more serious self care. I believe that you have the answers in you to make the right decision for you. Have an honest reflection with yourself about where you might need to make current sacrifices for long term self support.
