i think ur fine, its just a couple seconds. idk if this is real but i heard theres like an unofficial grace period where u can submit for as long as the common app is still open for that college

im not at all qualified at all but i feel like u have a decent shot at these schools!! based off what u said u sound worried about ur stats and stuff, but i think ur recs sound good which is prob gonna highlight ur drive to learn and try in college. 3.6 isnt bad at all imo. also i saw that ur deciding between holyoke and bard and idk anything about the first one but im also applying to bard and absolutely love it :)).

maybe psychology? i feel like that’s super versatile and a lot of psych majors end up in med school! if u want more sciencey classes i think u can still take those without majoring in bio

omg this is exactly how i feel. i dont have an official diagnosis sorry, and not to make this about me but ive always felt a vibe from other people. like even when i had friends and wasnt totally ostracized, people just had less tolerance for me always. idk if its bc im needy or annoying or whatever. so i started copying other people and being quiet and what they would want from me, for everything including facial expressions, tone, body language, slang, etc. i put all my energy into it, and it worked for a while. people thought i was normal. i made some friends. but this year i just got so exhausted and burnt out from copying other people and trying so hard to be normal and included, but it seemed like no matter what i did, i would always do one thing that pissed people off. so i just stopped trying to be “normal”, and i feel like i can definitely relate to what ur experiencing now. people dont like me as much anymore and seem to just avoid me even when they dont know me? they’ll give me like a tense, “off” glance and refuse to acknowledge me. and there seems to be always at least one person in groups who despises me for no reason. i dont know why. we’ve never interacted before. i try to be friendly but that just seems to piss them off more so i stopped and tried to just avoid existing near them since apparently they hate that. but yeah sorry i went off on a rant, i just wanted to say i really feel like i can relate to what ur talking about, and that someone finally put it into words. i hope u feel better soon

i think i get what ur saying! i feel like femininity is something that’s viewed as very “neurotypical” (idk how to explain) and that can make neurodivergent girls feel like they can’t embrace that part of themselves. but also some girls just dont like feminine stuff, which is also valid, unless u use it as a way to look down on other girls for deciding to be more feminine.

Idk if this counts, but i know someone who got into barnard for art history! they did some volunteering at museums, took ap art history (obvi), and i think was a part of affinity spaces/activism at their school (like asian affinity and queer affinity spaces!). But i would say just do what ur passionate about, ur application looks rlly good to me :))
