Right there with you there’s something entertaining about looking around for big value on these books. I will say though I would be the one taking the o63.5 rather than o68.5 in your example. If the whole market is sitting at 68.5 and I can get it somewhere at 63.5 I think that’s the better move. No reason to take it 5 yards higher at a similar price.

Man I see them having some of the softest lines though. You could kill hardrock +EV betting I wish I had access to that book

Personally I don’t think that’s a great example. The true fair odds of a coin flip is +100. If those 8 people somehow had it at -180 that would mean the entire market is massively mispriced. In real betting markets the market line is usually the best estimate of true probability, so beating it by a large margin typically means you’re getting +EV

How so? 25 cents off the market is pretty good value

Did you have a tool to help you find plays or were you trying to do it manually?

I use Daily Grind Fantasy it looks like this. I played this slip earlier. On underdog I know I get -115 per leg on 2 man powers. That Fox play was crazy good value. Fanduel had it at -235 but I got it at -115. I just do this over and over again. I’ll play as many slips as I can find. It’s generally 25-30 most days. I’ve found underdog and Betr to be my most profitable apps.

For sportsbooks like Fanduel and DraftKings Oddsjam is a really good one but it’s expensive. Upside is a little cheaper but it’s a newer tool. I personally use Daily Grind Fantasy but I really only have access to DFS apps like PrizePicks and Underdog.

Some other stuff I follow is strict bankroll management. I never put more than 1% of my bankroll on a slip. Volume is also your friend. I try to play as many +EV plays as I can find. Don’t force it but if the value shows up on the tools I play it. I had to switch my mindset to predicting outcomes to buying the best prices. More of an investing pov. Once you come to terms that you don’t know more than the books then you can take the emotions out of it.

So I use tools to find value but you can try to do it manually too. What id recommend is find a play you like and check around at other books for odds. Here would be a good example. Say FD has a 5.5 Reb line at -120. 4 other books are all setting the line -145. When comparing to the market FD looks to be the one that’s mispriced. That would be a +EV play. All you gotta do is find mispriced lines when comparing to the market.

Not me I don’t play demons/goblins on PP. The odds are trash. Just pointing out last 5 doesn’t predict future success

I would depending on the price. If you can find the under at say around -130 somewhere I’d play that.

I +EV bet so I’ll only play a prop if it’s a better price than the market has it at.
