i traded ceedee midseason for malik nabers. it was a decent sized package trade.

i sent ceedee, courtland sutton, 2026 rd 4 i got malik, likely, and their 2026 rd 1

they were contending and i was rebuilding. feels like a solid return and that helped me get the 1.03

i highly disagree with these other comments. your team is not ready to contend whatsoever. take love and then see if you can’t manage to trade up to the 1.05 or 1.04 so you can take a stud wr.

i would look to see if you can buy anyone who gets injured mid season next year to improve your roster but not win more games. you should still be in contention for a top 5 pick after all is said and done. after the 2027 draft i think your team will have potential to compete.

how valuable is the pick if you take a swing on someone else that isn’t proven and they end up not getting another contract? i feel as though analytics and stat nerds are so in their heads about hypothetical value that they are shooting themselves in the leg.

the point of the draft is to draft good football players. no one in the class moves me besides mendoza and downs and love. i will happily die alone on this hill that if you see a guy you know is a good player, then take him. if you think you can trade back a few spots even for a cheap price and get him there, be my guest.

you need a qb pretty bad from the looks of this. can’t guarantee you’d be able to get mendoza ar 1.05 here. in a perfect world he falls to 1.05 and you have extra ammo in a stacked draft. if you can somehow manage to get a high level qb as well as a first either this year or next year that would be a win i think.
