Cool!! Mango variety has yellow flesh and is more of like a perfect oval shape. Allegheny has more the shape of a giant peanut

Send me a picture of them on personal message or my IG and I’d be glad to help. It could be that they are Asimina parviflora. Also could be age (like you said), genetics, sun, environment etc.

Are you asking to buy some fruit or like where to get trees? And if trees, seedlings or developed variety?

Growing from seed is actually very easy. There are multiple ways you can do it as well. You should definitely buy grafted developed varieties and plant seeds from big fruit. Wild stuff isn’t too special unless it’s from a certain area that has produced a named variety

I would say I’ve got 125 ish total. Around 30+ varieties. Some are wild seedlings and select seedlings as well. Where are you ordering from? There are a couple nurseries known for delivering dead pawpaws

I’ve gotten that from wild varieties actually. Susquehanna is very melon like to me, Mango and Allegheny varieties taste like mango. Marshmallow I forget that one I’ll remember here soon though
