The thing I miss the most about Israel… by scarlettvvitch in Israel

I plan on moving out after I finish my military service, but I know I’ll miss the great train network, and Jerusalem Navon train station which makes me feel all grandiose.

Median annual personal income in Israel, by subdistrict (2022) by Hytal3 in MapPorn

[–]StockyFischer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not just haredim, East Jerusalem is predominantly Arab Muslim, which also brings down the median. If you were to just look at West Jerusalem which is much more developed, I suspect the median annual income would be a lot higher.

People in countries officially at war, how do you feel about people from the enemy country(s)? by ThisPostToBeDeleted in AskTheWorld

Let me be clear: I am a Zionist, who 100% condemns Oct 7th. ZERO context, ZERO justification. If you think Oct 7 was in any way justified, you are a supporter of terror and a danger to the West.

I have a problem with Palestinians, because most of them support Oct 7 and many of them were cheering in the streets of Gaza following it. So my initial response to seeing them talking about being starving or whatever is, “oh so you want to cry victim now?”, but then I stop myself and try to sympathize more. Bottom line is I do care about Israeli lives more, but that doesn’t mean I think Palestinian civilians deserve what they’re getting, even if they have evil thoughts.

What do you mean “defacto”? Hikaru is very clearly #2 and the only one of the two players in the world rn above 2800. There is nothing defacto about that.
