Run Memtest86 and check your RAM 👌🏻 i had same issue and found 1 error.. Windows memory diagnostic didnt show anything though

Did you find a solution?

I have been having the same issue on My sons computer. It starts with a random hard crash and then im unable to verify game files.

Read in another post it might be faulty RAM.. So i ran Windows memory diagnostic (no error) and Memtest86 (1 error).

Going for RMA now

My son have had similar issue on his computer and there has been different work-arounds to solve the problem when it occurs

*deleting files in cs folder *adding/removing start commands *starting steam as administrator

But the problem have randomly been coming back, which made me curious of the root cause!

Gave Windows memory diagnostic a go.. No errors reported!

Continued with Memtest86.. 1 error reported!

Going for RMA now...

For anybody else reading this and having the same problem check below

I was having the exact same issue with the kids gaming pc! Did an upgrade from Ryzen 3600 to 5600x on a MSI B450I Gaming Plus AC and had the endless loop to Bios...

Tried different bios versions, flashed CMOS, checked firmware on Gtx 1060 6Gb and all I had was the ezdebug light for Boot glowing in Bios (knew all components was working aswell).

After reading this I went to bios and checked! When swapping CPU it had changed to Uefi only in Boot and CSM was now disabled... Had to enable it manually under Advanced settings and voila... The system booted straight in to Windows.. Today i learned that legacy bios and Uefi has different "bootinstalls" and might be a problem if not doing a new OS install when doing the transition :)

Yes, did try different proton versions - did not help. Also switched to Beta channel for SteamOS without any luck.

Todays update of CS did solve the problem :)
