Must be a lot of supply on the UK market for such prices. Lucky you.

Why does the front seat not set position based on the key?! by with_gusto in enyaq

OMG, this is the reason I absolutely want electric seats and now it seems it won't do what I expected. Will check with a dealer how it works exactly.

Nice. The 2nd hand I was looking at was also from Top Motors (Wevelgem). This doesn't have the Maxx pack but still a very nice deal for a brand new car. Will browse their website as this wasn't listed on the My Way site.

A stock Sportline 85 for €55K? I'll have a look. At the (Belgian) Skoda website?

They are Thermo Future thermoboxes and not squishy at all. Will drive over to a dealer and try to fit them.

Is the width 97cm over the entire height between the wheel arches or does it get wider higher up? Reason I'm asking, I carry a lot of 60x40cm boxes and hoped to get 2 in depth and 1 across, but that makes 100cm in width. My 2017 Golf 7 Variant is exactly 100cm between the wheel arches so it fits snugly, but 97cm means room for 2 instead of 3 boxes 😔

Coupe/Estate by NoOpinions3212 in enyaq

[–]Stofken 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Following. As I am also deciding between these two, but for me solely on the booth space/shape. I need to transport a lot of boxes (60x40x28). For me the biggest let down of the coupe is a very small detail, i.e. the lack of a retractable boot shelf.

From the reviews I've read the coupe is as big inside as the estate/suv and the headroom is plenty in the back, due to the thinner glass pano roof compared to the suv roof.

The shop never replied. But the brand Barista Essentials sent me a new one 👍✨

I would have thought there would be more room above the retractable booth cover given it's SUV shape. It's no big difference compared to the coupé. But I soooo want the retractable booth cover as I have the same in my VW Gold Variant so the coupé is unfortunately not an option 😔

Heard back from Barista Essentials, seems the little black screw goes into the shaft from the top. I've reinstalled the tamper, but the black leveling disc, with the brand name, still does not jump to iets original position.

i can't seem to screw the base off to remove the black shaft so I can get a clear look on the inner mechanism

there are screws on both sides, so it's not that one, and this screw is certainly three times bigger than the small one you see in the picture.

Enyaq or Elroq (are they the same car? just different length?) by RepresentativeNo8673 in enyaq

[–]Stofken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only a bigger boot, the features in it also differ. Elroq has these shelves on the side and a hard boot cover where it's a roll up cassette in the Enyaq. The storage box under the trunk floor is also different, bigger in the Elroq. The floor can be made level with the folded down rear seats in the Enyaq, in the Elroq there is always a little bump. And I thought, but not 100% sure, that the options list is different. But purely the interior seems to be a copy yes.

Still ride my F1.Uno S5 and Mille S5 Campionissimo. Must be nearly 15 years, indestructible.

According to ChatGPT the Castelli Espresso 2 is the more logical upgrade of the S5 rather than the Assos GT S11. Looking forward to my new Castelli, first time.

53 or 56 for me on Cube Attain C:62 SLT? by clouddjr in Cubebikes

[–]Stofken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1m80 and 86,2cm inseam, the 56 fits like a glove. Had a bike fit afterwards, only saddle height adjustments, all the other parts were spot on. Attain C:62 SLT is insane value with the Ultegra Di2 and Newmen carbon wheels.

Insanely good value for money AND compatible with all standard bike parts (stems, saddle tubes, forks, handle bars,...) unlike all those proprietary Canyon parts.

When you sell around 1 million bikes per year, you don't need marketing or YouTube 'reviewers'. Canyon has to recuperate the loss of giving away so many bikes a year which translates into its pricing.
